There are many things that make Grand Theft Auto great. The destructive weapons, the death-defying missions, the humorous characters, etc. But I think you’ll agree with me when I say that the best aspect of any GTA game is the vehicles. With the release of a new DLC, we now have access to fifteen new rides!
Whether it’s high-end supercars, motorcycles, or even armored vehicles, GTA V’s latest update — the Contract — has it all. In today’s article, we’ll be going over and ranking all new cars in the GTA Online Contract DLC.
All 15 New Cars in GTA Online Contract DLC, Ranked
Let’s jump right into the ranking!
15/15
Obey I-Wagen
Speed: 68.68/100 | Acceleration: 57.88/100 | Braking: 25.83/100 | Handling: 71.67/100 | Added: January 20th, 2022 | Imani Tech: No
The first vehicle on our ranking of every new car in the GTA Online Contract DLC is the Obey I-Wagen. This is a pricey little SUV that can be purchased by going to the in-game website Southern San Andreas Super Autos. It will set you back a total of $1,729,000.
Thanks to a series of tests from YouTuber Broughy1322, we can confidently say that the car’s top speed is a measly 91.50 MPH. This makes it one of the slowest cars introduced in this update, which is a shocker considering the almost $2M price tag. It doesn’t help that this is one of the vehicles which can’t be fitted with Imani Tech (advanced upgrades that can give vehicles special features).
As for its design, it looks good, but nothing worth more than a few hundred thousand dollars. It does offer some good liveries, such as the Meinmacht Racing one. This gives it an orange stripe down the hood of the car, with a minimalist design for its sides. Another good pick is the Candybox Racing livery, which gives it a black and red color scheme and a few racing decals on its sides.
14/15
Pfister Astron
Speed: 79.79/100 | Acceleration: 81/100 | Braking: 16/100 | Handling: 66.21/100 | Added: December 15th, 2021 | Imani Tech: No
Up next, let’s take a moment to go over the Pfister Astron. This is a four-door SUV based on our own world’s Porsche Macan. It’s a nice-looking car, although it isn’t anything special. Interested buyers can pick it up off of Legendary Motorsports for a price of $1,580,000, with no trade price available.
The speed and acceleration are pretty okay for an SUV, with a top speed of 119.25 MPH. Its braking power is abysmal, and not something I’d recommend using in a race. The handling could be better as well. There isn’t a whole lot about this car that makes it worth the buy, especially at a price of $1.5M.
You can get it if you like the look, though. It’s got a good amount of customization options, and some nice liveries to boot. The Racer 53 is my favorite. It coats the car in a red and white color scheme with the number 53 proudly displayed on the side. The livery goes great with a dark gray paint job as its primary color.
13/15
Nagasaki Shinobi
Speed: 83.92/100 | Acceleration: 90.63/100 | Braking: 41.67/100 | Handling: 69.70/100 | Added: January 13th, 2022 | Imani Tech: No
Now for one of the more disappointing vehicles on this list, the Nagasaki Shinobi. This motorcycle isn’t bad at all, but its price tag, combined with the inability to use Imani Tech, makes it a very disappointing vehicle. It costs a staggering $2,480,500, which is crazy for a motorcycle. You can find it only on Legendary Motorsports.
The motorcycle’s acceleration clocks in at 90.63, which is pretty good. The top speed is 125.25, which is comparable to several high-end cars. These stats aren’t bad, but considering the price tag, it’s not the buy when the Shinobi is outclassed by cheaper alternatives. Maybe if this thing had more customization or had some weapons it would be worth it, but it just isn’t.
As previously mentioned, there aren’t as many customization options on this vehicle. It does sport some good-looking liveries, however. One I really like is the Paint Art 1100, which gives it a snazzy green and pink color scheme. Another is the Princess Robot Bubblegum livery, which makes the Shinobi perfect for both weebs and motorcycle enthusiasts alike!
12/15
Gallivanter Baller ST
Speed: 74.98/100 | Acceleration: 75.63/100 | Braking: 23.33/100 | Handling: 66.67/100 | Added: December 23rd, 2021 | Imani Tech: No
Now for one of the more popular cars, it’s the Gallivanter Baller ST! This is a stylish SUV that takes inspiration from the real-life Range Rover SVAutobiography. You can purchase it at any time from Legendary Motorsports for a price of $890,000, which makes it one of the cheapest vehicles in the update!
This car can reach a top speed of 112 MPH, with an acceleration that is just okay. It handles better than you’d expect, but the braking can be a bit of a pain to get used to. Unfortunately, this car cannot use Imani Tech and is really only worth getting if you want a cheap-ish car that looks good.
The customization is great, as with most of the vehicles in this update. My two favorite liveries for this ride are the Arrow Racing and Complex Stripes liveries. Arrow Racing turns the top half of the car black and gives it a yellow Arrow logo on the sides. Complex Stripes adds black and red stripes all along the front and sides, which looks excellent in nearly any primary color.
11/15
Declasse Granger 3600LX
Speed: 76.19/100 | Acceleration: 51.87/100 | Braking: 28/100 | Handling: 66.06/100 | Added: January 27th, 2022 | Imani Tech: No
Up next on our list for every new car in the GTA Online Contract DLC ranked, it’s the Declasse Granger 3600LX. This is a four-door SUV that takes inspiration from the Chevrolet Suburban. This car can be purchased from Southern San Andreas for $1,380,000. This low-ish price, combined with some of its options for armor, tech, and weapon upgrades, makes it a great choice for a defensive vehicle.
The Granger 3600LX features a moderate acceleration rate and a top speed of 96.75 MPH. This isn’t the fastest car on the block, but its armor and weapons make up for it. When fully upgraded, this SUV can take up to four RPGs and twelve homing launcher hits before being destroyed. You can also give this vehicle proximity mines and fit it with Imani Tech for added versatility!
As for its cosmetic options, I was very disappointed with what I had to work with. There are liveries, of course, but none of them are really that great (a lot of them are actually really ugly). You’d be better off skipping the liveries this time around and just picking out a color you really like.
10/15
Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio
Speed: 83.76/100 | Acceleration: 87.38/100 | Braking: 29.67/100 | Handling: 100/100 | Added: January 6th, 2022 | Imani Tech: No
For our next pick, we have the Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio. This is a convertible version of the Comet S2 added in the Tuners DLC from Summer 2021. You can pick it up for $1,797,000. While I’ve always been a fan of Porsches, I just don’t see a reason to buy another Comet unless you don’t have one of the different models already added to the game.
As for its stats, you can reach a top speed of 129 MPH, which is pretty good. The Comet S2 Cabrio features perfect handling, making it a good choice for maneuvering around tight corners in races. Besides the car’s ability to roll the top down, there isn’t much to separate it from the other Comets in the game. This would be much higher on the list if it could use Imani Tech.
Visually, I love this car. It has a sleek and stylish design that looks very similar to its real-world counterpart, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. The liveries on this car are great as well. I went with the Ron Racing livery, which gives it a yellow stripe across the hood and adds several racing decals. Another good pick is the Stronzo livery, which does something similar but with a baby blue color scheme.
9/15
Enus Deity
Speed: 80.48/100 | Acceleration: 73.13/100 | Braking: 21.67/100 | Handling: 65.15/100 | Added: December 15th, 2021 | Imani Tech: Yes
For spot number nine on our ranking, it’s the Enus Deity! This four-door sedan can be picked up for a price of $1,845,000 off of Legendary Motorsports. It is one of the weaponized and armored vehicles added alongside the Contract update, making it both practical and beautiful!
The Enus Deity features a good top speed of 117.50 MPH. Its braking is terrible, to say the least, so it may take you some time to get used to this car. It can be upgraded with armor, mounted machine guns, and deployable proximity mines that can cause your opponents to spin out of control. It’s a decent buy for the price, especially considering it can be fitted with Imani Tech.
As for its liveries, there aren’t many that are all that special. My personal favorites, however, are the Red Pinstripes and the 2 Tone Bigness. The former gives the car a set of red pinstripes going all around the vehicle, while the 2 Tone Bigness changes the hood to dark gray and adds a simple decal on the sides.
8/15
Lampadati Cinquemila
Speed: 82.63/100 | Acceleration: 88.38/100 | Braking: 32.50/100 | Handling: 79.70/100 | Added: December 15th, 2021 | Imani Tech: No
Here at spot number eight for every new car in the GTA Online Contract DLC ranked, it’s the Lampadati Cinquemila! This four-door sedan can be bought off of Legendary Motorsport for $1,740,000. This is one of the pricier sedans in the game, so be sure to keep that in mind before you make any purchases.
With a top speed of exactly 121 MPH, the Cinquemila is a quality luxury sedan that makes a great pick in Sedan races. Due to its high price tag for a car in this class, I’m a little reluctant to recommend it. It cannot be modified with any Imani Tech, making it not too different from the many other cars in the game.
Visually, it’s a great-looking car that takes heavy inspiration from our world’s Maserati Quattroporte VI. Most of the liveries that you can find on this car are disappointing, but there are a few good ones here and there. My favorite one is the Fleeca Race skin, which gives it a red and green color scheme with racing stripes on the side!
7/15
Bravado Buffalo STX
Speed: 85.58/100 | Acceleration: 85.63/100 | Braking: 31.67/100 | Handling: 78.18/100 | Added: December 15th, 2021 | Imani Tech: Yes
Coming in at spot number seven, we have the Bravado Buffalo STX! This Buffalo is a four-door armored muscle car that takes inspiration from the real-world Dodge Charger Hellcat. You can pick one up today from the in-game website Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $2,150,000, or a trade price of $1,612,500.
The car has a great top speed of 126.25, with good acceleration to boot. Its handling is acceptable as well, and it’s a smooth car to ride around Los Santos in. This car can be modified to feater upgraded armor, allowing it to tank up to four RPG shots before blowing up. It allows for Imani Tech, giving you access to missile lock on jammers for some added defense.
Visually, the car looks stunning, and if you’re a big fan of muscle cars, you’ll be glad to know there are hundreds of customization options available for the Buffalo STX. The liveries that this car features are great and there are many different racing stripes to choose from. There are basic red or blue racing stripes, of course, but plenty of options that feature racing decals as well.
6/15
Overflod Zeno
Speed: 87.35/100 | Acceleration: 97/100 | Braking: 40/100 | Handling: 83.33/100 | Added: December 23rd, 2021 | Imani Tech: No
Next, we have the Overflod Zeno supercar! This is a gorgeous-looking fast ride that will set you back $2,820,000. It can be purchased in-game from Legendary Motorsports. The Zeno is molded after the real-life SSC Tuatara. Supercars are my favorite vehicles in GTA V, and I was excited to see another one added to the game with the Contract DLC.
The acceleration is very high at the Zeno, and its top speed is a high 127.50. Its handling is pretty decent as well, so you don’t have to worry too much about flying off the track. The price is on the heavier side, so I wouldn’t recommend buying this car if you already have one of the other top-performing supercars in the game (such as the Benefactor Krieger).
Visually, the car is sleek and stylish and looks good with just about any color of the rainbow. Its liveries are excellent, and there are a lot of good-looking options to choose from. I recommend the Tristripe, which gives the car black and red thin stripes all around the sides, back, and front.
5/15
Mammoth Patriot Mil-Spec
Speed: 68.68/100 | Acceleration: 57.50/100 | Braking: 16.17/100 | Handling: 60.15/100 | Added: December 30th, 2022 | Imani Tech: Yes
Sitting pretty in our top five, we have my favorite armored vehicle in the game — the Mammoth Patriot Mil-Spec! This is a great-looking off-road vehicle that is modeled after the real-life Hummer H1 SUV. It can be acquired by players at a price of $1,710,000, or a trade price of a discounted $1,282,500.
This heavy-duty version of the Patriot may not be the fastest vehicle in the game, and its brakes may take some time to get used to. But it is a must-own for its defensive capabilities! If you give the vehicle a hardtop, it will completely block all bullets hitting the backside of the car. Thanks to this, its bullet-resistant windows, and the ability to use missile lock-on jammers, The Mil-Spec is a must-have!
Visually, it is by far one of the best looking off-road cars in the game, and it’s great if you’re a fan of hummers. The liveries on it are top-notch, and my personal favorite is the TireTread livery. If you are feeling patriotic, there is also an American flag livery you can get instead!
4/15
Enus Jubilee
Speed: 81.02/100 | Acceleration: 74.38/100 | Braking: 25/100 | Handling: 69.24/100 | Added: December 15th, 2021 | Imani Tech: Yes
Let’s talk about the Enus Jubilee! Rockstar molded this beauty after the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. You can buy it yourself on Legendary Motorsports for $1,650,000, or $1,237,500 if you’ve unlocked the trade price. This is one of my favorite SUVs in the game!
This four-door SUV combines both offensive and defensive capabilities with a good top speed of 116.75. It can be upgraded with armor to make it able to withstand a lot of damage, and it can be fitted with Imani Tech to make it immune to missile lock-on! What’s more, this car can be mounted with two dual machine guns, allowing you to rain fire on enemies from the safety and comfort of a Jubilee.
Visually, this is probably one of my favorite SUVs in the entire game. The design is very good, and I especially love the look of the hood. The liveries on this one were a little disappointing for me, and unless you like hot rod flames, you’ll be disappointed too. I choose to go with a brushed gold paint job combined with some white tires, and I’m very satisfied with it.
3/15
Dewbachee Champion
Speed: 86.28/100 | Acceleration: 89.75/100 | Braking: 38.33/100 | Handling: 77.76/100 | Added: December 15th, 2021 | Imani Tech: Yes
My personal favorite vehicle that came with the update is our number three pick, the Dewbachee Champion! This is a unique supercar that can be purchased for $2,995,000 off Legendary Motorsports (or $2,246,250 with the trade price). It’s a pretty spendy car, but it’s well worth the price once you consider what it has to offer.
The maximum top speed on this supercar is 124.75 MPH. It features decent acceleration and handling, making it a good all-rounder in the supercar category. The Champion is on the slower side when compared to other supercars, but what makes this vehicle so unique is the fact it’s the only armored supercar in the game!
The extra defense makes getting around the map both safe and fast. What’s more, is that this car can be modified with Imani Tech! Give it a lock-on missile jammer and you’ll be completely safe from Oppressor MkII griefers.
As for its visual design, it’s molded after the real-life Aston Martin Victor. The liveries on the Champion can get pretty ugly, but there are a few good ones among the bad. Jackal Racing gives it a red stripe on either side and some beautiful racing decals. There is also a black stripes livery and a white stripes livery if you want something more simple.
2/15
Western Reever
Speed: 81.13/100 | Acceleration: 100/100 | Braking: 43.33/100 | Handling: 66.67/100 | Added: February 3rd, 2022| Imani Tech: No
In second place, we have the best motorcycle in the Contract DLC. I am, of course, referring to the Western Reever! It’s sold for only $1,900,000 on Legendary Motorsports, making it fairly cheap for recently-released vehicles. As a big motorcycle guy, I was incredibly pumped when this dropped back in early February.
The motorcycle is incredibly fast, with very strong acceleration and a top speed of 163 MPH. It’s a great bike for use in motorcycle races, and it has decent handling, which makes it good for newbies. Since this bike is much cheaper than the Nagasaki Shinobi, it’s a great buy for the price.
Visually, this bike is good, but nothing special. The Reever isn’t my favorite bike visually, but there are a lot of customization options on it. There are tons of options for little things, such as mudguards and windshields. The liveries are excellent, and I’m personally a big fan of the Sprunk livery this one has available.
1/15
Pegassi Ignus
Speed: 85.98/100 | Acceleration: 95.88/100 | Braking: 33.33/100 | Handling: 83.86/100 | Added: December 15th, 2021| Imani Tech: No
Now for the number one best car in the Contract DLC, we have the Pegassi Ignus! This lighting fast supercar was modeled after the real-life Lamborghini. It can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport for $2,765,000 dollars. It’s far from cheap, but if you’re looking for one of the best, you’ve found it.
The Ignus is a very fast supercar, with a good top speed and outstanding acceleration. The car is great to use during races or just getting around the map in a timely manner. It isn’t as good as the Benefactor Krieger, but it is the fastest supercar released for this DLC. This is also the car that Franklin owns, so it’s a good car to pick if you’re a collector.
Visually, it’s incredibly stunning, and it’s my new favorite-looking supercar in the game. Rockstar did a great job capturing the look of its real-world counterpart. As for customization options, my favorite livery for it is the Triple Stripes. This gives it several thin racing stripes in green, white, and red.
