The fastest among these are airplanes, and although there are many different airplanes you can buy in GTA 5 Online, you only have so much storage space to put them. What Do I Need to Sell a Plane?

Not just anyone can sell an airplane that they own. There are a few things that you will need to have in order to sell one. First and foremost, you need to have a hangar. This is a property that acts as a “garage” for your planes. There are five different hangars available, but you can only own one at a time. You can purchase a hangar from the in-game website Maze Bank Foreclosures.

The cheapest one will cost $1,200,000, and the most expensive is $3,250,000. But it doesn’t stop there. In addition to needing a hangar, you will also need the workshop upgrade for your hangar. You can add this to your purchase when you go to buy one from the website mentioned earlier. This upgrade can be bought after you get a hangar, so don’t stress if you didn’t buy the upgrade before.

Last but not least, in order to sell a plane, it needs to be stored inside your hangar. While most aircraft you buy are stored in your hangar automatically, there are some vehicles that are considered Pegasus vehicles. In order to sell aircraft from this category, you first need to spawn it by calling Pegasus, and then you need to fly to your hangar and store it by approaching the entrance with the vehicle.

Now that we’ve covered what you need in order to sell a plane, we can get to what you’re really here for. To sell an airplane, enter it from inside your hangar. If you’ve bought the workshop upgrade mentioned in the previous section, there should be a button prompt displayed on the screen that you can select to start customizing your plane.

After you pull this menu up, scroll down to the bottom. Somewhere close to the end of the list of customization options will be an option to “sell” your airplane. Select this, and you will be asked to confirm if you want to sell the plane or not. If you confirm your choice, your plane will be sold for half the price that you originally bought it for, as well as half the price for all the upgrades you’ve bought.
