Check out all the exciting things coming to ESO this June from a brand new Golden Pursuit, the Seasons of the Worm Cult release, and Update 46!
I have spent hundreds of hours playing ESO & love participating in events with friends, trying new PvE content, and spending time designing homes. Whether it’s creating a new build or exploring a new zone, the Elder Scrolls Online is my bread and butter. I hope I can help some fellow players along the way.
Below, you’ll find an overview of all of our ESO guides. Then, I’ll talk about what’s new in-game. Be sure to bookmark this page to stay updated about all the latest Elder Scrolls Online news and updates. Let’s dive in!
The State of ESO: Current Events & Updates

The Elder Scrolls Online is ever changing and this year it’s no different, from the Introduction of Subclassing to the New Seasons of the Worm Cult. Seasons of the Worm Cult takes you to Solstice where you can embark on a new zone story, venture through a new public dungeon and some delves, and explore a beautiful island. I think the new Content Pass is interesting because later this year we will get to participate in a huge in-game event and then get the second half of the Worm Cult story. I think that participating in a big one-time event like the Writhing Wall Event will be incredible and will be one of the highlights of this Season since it is immersive and involves other players.

Subclassing which was introduced this June with Update 46 is also a big addition to the game. With Scribing and Subclassing I think that players have the ability to use their creativity to craft a build that fits their toon or playstyle. Scribing was introduced with the Gold Road Chapter and allows players to customize their own spells. As the ESO Devs said in their global reveal this year “you belong here” and I think that couldn’t be any truer. The Elder Scrolls Online is a world of its own, with a wonderful community and no shortage of amazing quests and content to do.
June Login Rewards

This June if you log in 7 times you will receive the Soul Harvester earrings Minor adornment. This unlocks it on your account so any of your characters can use it. Additionally, you can collect Crown Repair Kits, crown soul gems, and more. Make sure to check back in July for the new log in rewards!
Golden Pursuits: Midyear Celebrations!

Dates: June 3rd to June 24th
This month complete 18 Golden Pursuit challenges to receive some exciting in-game rewards. There are 3 milestone rewards you can receive for completing the Golden Pursuits. To receive the rewards you will have to complete various activities such as doing quests, killing World Bosses, and harvesting resources.
For completing 6 Golden Pursuits you will receive 15,000 Gold. For completing 12 Golden Pursuits you will receive a magnificent, interactable statue of Molag Bal for your house. The final reward is the adorable Non-Combat Pet Golden Honor!
Zeal of Zenithar Event

Dates: June 26th to July 8th
The Zeal of Zenithar Event returns to the Elder Scrolls Online at the end of June rewarding players for their hard work in honor of the Trader God, Zenithar! To begin, head to Belkarth in Craglorn to pick up the quest “The Unrefusable offer” from Amminus Varo at the Belkarth Festival Grounds. You can grab the quest from the Quest Starters Tab in the Crown Store if you prefer. Once you complete this quest, you gain access to the Daily Event Quest “Honest Toil”. Each time you complete the daily event quest “Honest Toil”, receive Zenithar’s Sublime Parcel box as a reward. If you complete “Honest Toil” afterwards you will receive a Zenithar’s Delightful Parcel box. Earn 3 Event Tickets per day when you complete this quest as well.
How to Earn Reward Boxes

As mentioned above, you can earn reward boxes by doing the quest “Honest Toil”. You can earn a Delightful Parcel from completing Master Writs, defeating World Bosses or doing incursions with another player in your guild, or completing group arenas like Black Rose Prison with a guildmate. Earn one Delightful Parcel upon completing your first Crafting Writ of the day (per account). In addition, you also have a small chance of earning a parcel while pickpocketing or opening safeboxes during the event.
There are plenty of ways to earn reward boxes during this event that contain lots of useful items. I am especially looking forward to collecting the brand new outfit style, Zenithar Battlesmith this year!
Update 46

Subclasses
A new feature being added to the Elder Scrolls Online this June is subclassing. Players now have the option to add skills and choose a skill line from other classes. If you are interested in checking out Subclassing, go to the Crown Store and pick up ” A study in Discipline” from the Quest Starters tab and it is free for all players. I have made a few builds using the Subclassing system and think it is a really fun and creative addition to the game. I like that you are required to keep one Skill Line from your original Class but allowed to swap out up to 2 Skill Lines. Subclassing allows for a myriad of build configurations and possibilities so I recommend giving it a go.
Hero’s Return
If you have been away from ESO for a while a Hero’s Return helps you ease back into the game and complete a quest to review combat mechanics. Along with the quest, you can complete a short Golden Pursuit to get you in the groove. We all take breaks from games from time to time and I think Hero’s Return makes revisiting Elder Scrolls Online seamless with some extra rewards as well.
Console Add-ons
Console add-ons will be able for players using the Xbox Series X|S and Playstation 5 from June 23rd. Developers have been excited for add-ons to come to consoles and for players to try them out! I think Add-ons can be helpful for multiple reasons, if you like farming there are useful ones to help you find nodes and Skyshards. For crafters there are add-ons that can make the experience much smoother.
Furnishing Vault

Enjoy decorating and doing housing builds in the Elder Scrolls Online? A Furnishing Vault will be available with Update 46. The Furnishing Vault can be placed in your home and can hold 500 furnishing items. If you have ESO Plus the Furnishing Vault is available for free. As someone with a huge furniture warehouse, I am so glad this was implemented and think this is really helpful for de-cluttering. This addition is my favorite part of Update 46.
Seasons of the Worm Cult

Dates: June 2nd on PC & June 18th on Console
A beautiful new zone is coming to Elder Scrolls Online in June with the the Seasons of the Worm Cult! Solstice is an island located off the coast of Murkmire. This Season will include new content releasing over the course of the year. The new Season will include a massive in game event, a new story quest and more. I have already explored some of Western Solstice and I am really looking forward to the Writhing Wall event coming up later this year and exploring the rest of the zone.
