Check out all the exciting things coming to ESO this fall. This guide goes over current Elder Scrolls Online news, updates, and in-game events.
I have spent hundreds of hours playing ESO & love participating in events with friends, trying new PvE content, and spending time designing homes. Whether it’s creating a new build or exploring a new zone, the Elder Scrolls Online is my bread and butter. I hope I can help some fellow players along the way.
Below, you’ll find an overview of all of our ESO guides. Then, I’ll talk about what’s new in-game. Be sure to bookmark this page to stay updated about all the latest Elder Scrolls Online news and updates. Let’s dive in!
The State of ESO: Current Events & Updates

The Battle for the Writhing Wall begins October 13th, players can team up with the Stirk Fellowship to bring down the Writhing Wall and stop Mannimarco and the Worm Cult from taking over Tamriel. Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 2 will be released at the end of the event once the third phase of the event is over allowing players to explore Eastern Solstice and continue the story.
Getting to explore the other side of Solstice will be exciting once the wall comes down. There are new bosses, Delves, and a Public Dungeon. If you enjoy ESO’s housing system, a whole collection of Worm Cult style furnishing will be introduced with Update 48. There is also a brand new home called Cradle of the Worm Colossus in Eastern Solstice players can look forward to.

Battle for the Writhing Wall Event

Dates: Begins October 13th
The Battle for the Writhing Wall event commences this October. Grab the starter quest from the Crown Store called “Support the Fellowship” for free. If you own the Content Pass you can participate in the event on Solstice and access the additional quests and activities. If you don’t own the Content Pass, don’t worry you can still participate in the event from Stirk. Stirk is an island located off the coast of the Gold Coast zone that can be accessed via boat from Vulkhel Guard, Davon’s Watch, or Daggerfall depending on your alliance. Once you arrive on either Solstice or Stirk speak to Skordo the Knife to get started. Once this is complete, you can do daily quests to assist the Stirk Fellowship.
During the Writhing Wall event you can earn some Writhing Wall themed furnishings and Worm Cult themed furnishings from enemies and reward coffers. There are also achievements you can earn and receive rewards like Titles, mounts, and more! Check out my Writhing Wall Event Guide for more details and tips.

In Clockwork City, complete the zone story quest “Lost in the Gloam” to unlock the Blackfeather Court dailies which consist of two delve quests called “The Halls of Regulation” and “The Shadow Cleft”. Wildgrown Chapel of Julianos

The final morphable reward for this year is the new home, the Wildgrown Chapel of Julianos located in the West Weald zone. To collect this home, you will need to first get all the fragments and combine them to create the Stonewisp of Truth and Law pet. Players will then have to collect fragments to morph the pet into the home. There are three fragments available during this event: Dimunitive Runed Archway, Heavy Philosophical Tomes and Lawkeeper’s Lectern. You can find these fragments and other rewards at the Impresario Vendor, located outside cities like Rimmen, Vivec City, or Daggerfall.
