GTA Online: Every Yacht Explained and Which is Best

If you’ve been playing GTA Online for any amount of time, you’re likely to have purchased at least a couple of vehicles. Sports cars, supercars, maybe even a helicopter or two. But one of the less common vehicles in the game (if you could even call them that), is none other than yachts. These big, luxurious, and very expensive vehicles are great ways to show off, and even have a few practical uses.

But what are these practical uses? In this guide to the best yachts in GTA Online, we’ll cover the Galaxy Super Yachts in detail to help you decide which one is worth the expensive price tag.

Yachting Basics

To start, we’ve put together a basic rundown of how to acquire a yacht, the available customization options, and the features shared across all three variants.

Purchasing & Customization

As previously mentioned, yachts are some of the most expensive purchases in GTA Online. The least expensive one (without any customization options) will set you back $6,000,000! You can find them on the in-game website Dock Tease by selecting “Galaxy Super Yachts.”

Keep in mind that the costs don’t stop there. The daily fee of owning a Galaxy Super Yacht is $1,000 per day. On top of that, if you want to move your Yacht to another location, you’ll need to submit a request to your captain with a one-time fee of $25,000. There are a few other fees, like calling for a helicopter ($1,000) or a boat ($750) to gain access to the yacht.

You can’t customize the interior of your yacht, but you can customize the exterior. You can choose your base model (more on those later), the fittings around your yacht (gold or chrome), and the lighting on the side of the ship (one of eight available options). You also get to choose the color of the boat, give it a name, and add a flag of your choice.

Shared Features

No matter which yacht you go with, you’ll always be able to do “A Superyacht Life,” which is a small collection of six missions you can do to earn the Yacht Captain Outfit and a small amount of money. You’ll also be able to fast-travel across the map from the Captain’s bridge for the same price across each of the three ships.

Each model contains at least one helipad, a boat, and a sea shark. Interior-wise, every yacht comes with a master bedroom, three guest rooms for your friends, and even a private bar for you to order drinks from! The model, size, and little details on each of the three ships are more or less the same.

The two more expensive models come with a second helipad, but other than that, there aren’t that many differences with the boat itself. The primary differences lie with the vehicles that are docked next to the yacht (as well as the price).

The Orion

  • Price: $6,000,000
  • Size: 210ft
  • Features: 1 helipad
  • Vehicles: 2 (Shitzu Tropic, Speedophile Seashark)

The least expensive model on this list, The Orion can be bought for a minimum price tag of $6,000,000. It’s lacking in a few areas compared to the other boats on this list. This yacht is the only one that holds just a single helipad, and it does not spawn with a helicopter.

This is a good yacht to have if you can afford it, and just want an easy way to fast travel around the map. You can set your spawn point here, then have your Captain move your ship to another area. Then just take a boat to shore and do whatever you need to do.

The Pisces

  • Price: $7,000,000
  • Size: 210ft
  • Features: 2 helipads, hot tub
  • Vehicles: 5 (Buckingham Swift, Pegassi Speeder, Nagasaki Dinghy, 2 Speedophile Seasharks)

Next up is the Pisces. Players can buy this middle-of-the-road yacht for $7,000,000. This one features two helipads and spawns with a Buckingham Swift helicopter. This is handy to have as it allows you to get to shore very quickly.

Another good reason to own this yacht is that it spawns with a Nagaski Dinghy and two Speedophile Seasharks. If you happen to have some friends playing with you, the four of you can use these vehicles to get around the map quickly.

The Aquarius

  • Price: $8,000,000
  • Size: 210ft
  • Features: 2 helipads, hot tub
  • Vehicles: 7 (Buckingham SuperVolito Carbon, Nagasaki Dinghy, Lampadati Toro, 4 Speedophile Seasharks)

Lastly, let’s take a peek at the most expensive yacht in the game — the Aquarius. This is by far the most expensive safehouse/property in all of GTA Online, at a whopping $8,000,000! It is the ultimate flex for veteran GTA Online players and the one I’d recommend you buy.

Let’s be honest — the only reason why anyone would really need a yacht in the game is to flex. To that end, it doesn’t really make a lot of sense buying the lesser two yachts. I recommend purchasing this when it goes on sale (provided you have everything else in the game you want), then inviting your friends over for a dip in the hot tub while you gloat.

When your friends get tired of you rubbing it in, they can take the Lampadati Toro that comes alongside the Aquarius. It may not be the fastest boat in the game, but it is definitely one of the best-looking ones!
