Cars are everything in the world of Grand Theft Auto. More and more are being added by Rockstar Games all the time. Sometimes it feels like there are more cars than garages to store them in! It can be hard to keep track of all the latest models and engines. It can be even harder to decide which one is worth buying.
Luckily for you, High Ground Gaming has got you covered. Are you in the market for your next racing car? Looking for a new ride to cruise around town? Or maybe you just want to show off to your friends? Regardless of how you get your kicks, you’d be wise to take a peek at our best supercars in GTA Online.
If you’re looking for our top picks for standard cars in GTA Online, peruse our top 15 list here.
Top Super Cars in GTA Online, Ranked Worst to Best
Without further ado, let’s jump in.
7/7
Annis S80RR
(Out of 100) Speed: 87.06 | Acceleration: 93.13 | Breaking: 41.67 | Handling: 100
The Annis S80RR is one of the best supercars in class. It’s not the fastest car on this list, but it’s got excellent handling. If you’re not too familiar with racing in GTA Online and are looking to get into it, its great handling makes it a must-buy for new players. Although there are speedier cars on this list, its top speed and acceleration are still very acceptable and make this a viable car to drive in any race.
The car is modeled after the real-world Nissan R90C, and Jaguar XJR-9. It was added on July 23rd, 2019 as a part of the Diamond Casino & Resort update. You can purchase this vehicle for exactly $2,575,000 from the in-game website Legendary Motorsport.
Although I am not personally a fan of its design, the car’s variety of liveries and other customization options more than make up for it. There is a huge variety of ways you can customize this ride to make it your own. I decided to go for a frost-white color and the Chepalle livery. This gives the car a beautiful white and purple color combination. It looks so good I almost feel bad calling its model ugly (almost).
6/7
X80 Proto
(Out of 100) Speed: 85.31 | Acceleration: 93.75 | Breaking: 36.67 | Handling: 81.82
The X80 Proto is advertised as the “car of the future” and for good reason. It sports a very high acceleration rate and a top speed of around 127 miles per hour. The X80 makes a great ride for getting around the map and can make winning races a breeze (that is, if you can handle its less-than-perfect handling).
The Ferrari F80 concept is its real-world equivalent, and it’s just as pretty in-game as it is in real life. The X80 was added to GTA Online on June 21st, 2016 alongside the update Further Adventures in Finance and Felony. Interested buyers will need to fork out $2,700,000 dollars on the website Legendary Motorsport.
Now let’s go over the best part: customization. Customization for the X80 is good, but unfortunately, it’s not as great as the Annis S80RR. There are a lot of different ways you can tune this vehicle to your liking, but don’t expect any liveries or special customization options. One thing that is great about this car is the wheels. The default ones are only found on this car, and they look really stunning. In a game all about stealing cars, robbing liquor stores, and pulling off high-stakes heists, the most twisted and evil crime you could possibly commit is changing the tires on an X80.
5/7
Pfister 811
(Out of 100) Speed: 85.47 | Acceleration: 89 | Breaking: 37.33 | Handling: 81.45
So you’ve gotten the hang of racing against other players, and now you want to really step up your game. Have I got the car for you. The Pfister 811 has one of the highest top speeds at 133mph! The Grotti Itali RSX may be faster, but you can buy the 811 for less than half of what you’ll be paying for an Itali. For a car with such great stats, it is incredibly cheap in comparison.
Car fans will recognize this car as the real-life Porsche 918 Hypercar. This supercar was added on June 28th, 2016 during the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update. If you think you’ve got the moxie to take this one for a spin, you can buy it for the low price of $1,135,000 from Legendary Motorsport.
Sadly, this car doesn’t have any liveries available either. You’ll need to get creative if you want to stand out at the car meet. I went with a dark green pearlescent paint job and a dark limo screen tint for my Phister 811. It’s not the walking advertisement I wanted it to be, but it’ll do.
4/7
Pegassi Weaponized Ignus
(Out of 100) Speed: 85.98 | Acceleration: 96.50 | Breaking: 33.33 | Handling: 83.86
For our next pick, we are going to be taking a look at the Pegassi Weaponized Ignus! This is a next-gen exclusive supercar that was added alongside the Expanded & Enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto 5. It is a very fast car that can reach speeds of around 146.25 miles per hour after being fully upgraded! This makes the car absolutely insane to drive on the highway, as you’ll easily breeze past every car with ease.
This car is a variant of the Pegassi Ignus, which Rockstar modeled after a Lamborghini model. The PEgassi Weaponized Ignus came to the game exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X users in March of last year. It is not set to be released in the last-gen and PC ports of GTA V, so sadly your only way to get it is by buying the next-gen version of the game.
This vehicle can be upgraded with Haos Special Works, which is what allows it to reach its very high speed. You can also put a missile local on jammer on it, which prevents griefers/other players from targeting you with homing launchers and weaponized vehicles. The cosmetic customization on this car is pretty good, and there are some pretty cool liveries you can get with it as well. There are many different stripes available, and you can get some HSW-exclusive looks!
3/7
Benefactor Krieger
(Out of 100) Speed: 86.81 | Acceleration: 93.50 | Breaking: 37.33 | Handling: 100
Now onto the next pick for this list of the best supercars in GTA Online. The Benefactor Krieger may not have the highest top speed in its class, but it is by far the most versatile supercar in the game, having good stats all around. It also sports a very high acceleration, which you can really feel when driving. I would actually argue that its acceleration makes its lower top speed obsolete. In most races, you will be breaking and turning constantly, so getting back up to speed is very important. Most of the time, you’ll never even reach your top speed anyway. To make hitting those turns even easier, it also matches the Annis S80RR in terms of handling.
This car shares a similar design to the real-life Mercedes-AMG One. Rockstar added the Krieger to GTA Online on September 12th, 2019 as a part of the Diamond Casino & Resort update. Be ready to spend a pretty penny on this bad boy, as it’s the most expensive car on this list. It’ll cost you $2,875,000, and can be bought from — you guessed it — Legendary Motorsport.
Before you panic, yes, you can remove the fins on it. The Benefactor Krieger is by far the best-looking car in my garage. I decked out mine with a yellow paint job and some black racing stripes. Another popular combination is a light blue color with some gold-plated wheels. Now THAT is showing off!
2/7
Principe Deveste Eight (HSW)
(Out of 100) Speed: 91.21 | Acceleration: 100 | Breaking: 33.33 | Handling: 82.58
Next up, we have the HSW upgraded version of the Principe Deveste Eight! While the Deveste Eight was already in the last-gen version of GTA Online, it was given the ability to be upgraded at Hao’s Special Works for players who own the next-gen version of GTA V. This car can reach CRAZY FAST speeds with the best upgrades. The highest speed for this car is 151.75 MPH with the HSW upgrade! This makes it very fast and competitive in races. Its turning isn’t the best, however.
If you’ve ever seen a Mazda Furai, then you will recognize this car as that is what it’s been modeled after. The Principe Deveste Eight came to Grand Theft Auto Online not that long ago, in early 2019. It was given to the public as a part of the Arena War DLC. The base car will cost you $1,795,000, which is pretty good for a supercar. Just keep in mind you’ll need to pay more if you want the best upgrades for it!
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of this car’s appearance. The front of the car looks really weird to me, and when you combine that with the top it makes the car look like it’s being pulled upwards at an awkward angle. Still, I do think the customization for this car looks sick. My favorite livery for it would definitely be the Negative Stripes.
1/7
Grotti Vigilante
(Out of 100) Speed: 72.43 | Acceleration: 65 | Breaking: 20 | Handling: 63.64
And finally, at spot number 1 on our list, we have the Grotti Vigilante! This is a very unique supercar compared to the others on this list. For one, it’s the only one in this ranking that features a booster! You can rocket yourself forwards for a quick boost of speed. It is also armored, and comes with homing missiles! This makes it great for PvP as well as for doing missions. The top speed of this car according to the YouTuber Broughy1322 is 147 miles per hour. I should note that this car CANNOT be used in supercar races, only in missions and in free roam.
This car is visually incredibly unique. Many of you may recognize it as being Batman’s car! If you are a big fan of Batman, then this car is a must-grab. Personally, I prefer more realistic-looking vehicles in GTA, but to each their own. The car came to GTA Online back in the year 2017. It was released with the DLC Smuggler’s Run and has been a popular vehicle to use in heists ever since.
As previously mentioned, I prefer less over-the-top cars in GTA. But I can’t deny that Rockstar did an excellent job modeling this car and making it appear similar to Batman’s car. The customization on this car is very lacking compared to the others in the game, and you can really only get performance upgrades on it and change the colors. Still, it’s a good car to pick up for practical reasons.
Join the High Ground
Regardless of how you show off at the race track, make sure you do it in style. Everyone of these cars on this list will get you from point A to point B, regardless if they are the best and fastest supercars in GTA Online or not. At the of the day, its better to pick the one that looks and feels the best to you. Even if your car has the best stats in the game, you are still going to find yourself being pushed off the road by the guy who can’t break to save his life.
