GTA Online has had plenty of different businesses added to its online sandbox over the years. From various drug production businesses to an underground bunker manufacturing firearms, there is no shortage of unique properties in the game for players to run and make money with. One of the more recent businesses added to GTA Online is the Agencies. These are special businesses that give players the opportunity to take on high-paying missions for high-profile clients. In today’s article, we’re going over every GTA 5 Online Agency you can buy, ranking them based on how good they are.
Let’s get started!
Agencies Overview
Before getting into our ranking, we should really begin with the basics. For starters, just what is an Agency, exactly? An Agency is a purchasable business you can obtain in GTA Online. It can be obtained from the in-game website Dynasty8Exeutives for anywhere from $2,010,000 to $2,830,000. Buying this property allows you to team up with Franklin Clinton (yes, you read that right) and start your very own mercenary company!
Franklin will help get you in touch with high-profile clients that need special solutions to their special problems. You’ll be able to use this business to launch several missions that can make you some decent money. These missions can range from defending an area for a period of time to extracting a client out of a dangerous situation. There’s even an entire multi-part storyline that you can complete as well, which can pay out over $1,000,000 upon completion!
After you buy the business and watch the introductory cutscene, you can start doing these missions immediately. Head on up to the second floor and into your office and you’ll be able to launch the missions from your computer. You can do Security Contracts, which are short and simple missions, or you can take on the Dr. Dre Contract, the multi-part story mentioned earlier. For every five Security Contracts you complete, your business will gain +$500 in passive income every day!
As for upgrades and customization options, there is a decent amount of stuff you can do. You can change the color and theme of the interior. You can purchase a safe room for spawning at. And you can get a garage for upgrading your cars with high-tech gear! Each Agency location has the same interior and customization/upgrade options available, so don’t stress about that when deciding which location to get.
Every Agency in GTA Online, Ranked from Worst to Best
With that overview done and out of the way, let’s get right into our ranking of every GTA 5 Online Agency!
4/4
Rockford Hills Agency
Taking spot number four on this ranking of every Agency in GTA 5 Online, it’s the Rockford Hills Agency. This is a pretty nice-looking location with one of the better exteriors, in my opinion. But does that make it worth getting? Not exactly.
Let’s begin with the price. You’ll be set back a total of $2,415,000 when you buy this location. That is $415,000 cheaper than the most expensive Agency location in GTA Online. While you may be tempted to get this location to save some money, I wouldn’t bother. It’s located very close to the other two Agency properties, and they are both even cheaper. Considering how close they are all together, you really aren’t getting that much of an upgrade when you get this spot over the others.
Getting into and out of the property is not too difficult, thankfully. It’s not as bad as the location in Little Seoul, at least! This location is not as popular as the most expensive Agency, so if you want to avoid other players nearby, this might be an okay location to grab. I still don’t think it’s really worth it, but if money is no object to you, then by all means, go get it.
To summarize, I don’t think this property is worth the money. The location is only slightly better than the two near it, which isn’t worth nearly half a million dollars more.
3/4
Little Seoul Agency
Next up on our list, we have the Agency property located in Little Seoul. I’ve never really used this one personally, but I’ve heard a lot of reviews on it by other players. It’s kind of a mixed bag, and after doing some research, I can’t say that I would disagree with that statement.
The price for this property is very low for an Agency. It will only cost you $2,010,000, making it without a doubt the least expensive Agency in GTA Online. Because of this low price, many players may be tempted to pick it up. If you just want to experience the Contract DLC and don’t care too much about grinding this business, then I recommend getting it.
However, if you plan to grind this business, you’re better off getting one of the other two properties on this list. The main problem here is the location. Like the other two properties found in this area, it is just not that great for grinding Security Contracts. It is slightly better off than Vespucci Canals Agency, but I would still recommend that one more as getting in and out of this Agency is a pain. It’s exterior is definitely the worst out of the bunch due to how you get from the road to the garage.
So overall, this is a good property to get if you want something cheap. It is more worthwhile than the Rockford Hills one due to being in basically the same area but for a fraction of the price. But considering the next one is only a bit more expensive and has a better exterior, you should get that one instead.
2/4
Vespucci Canals Agency
At spot number two, we have the Vespucci Canals Agency. This is one that not too many people own, in my experience. This is a shame, as this is a pretty good property to get your hands on. It can be found in the western part of Los Santos, near the previous two locations.
You can acquire this property for a total sum of $2,145,000. This makes it the second cheapest location in the game, saving you $135,000 over the Little Seoul location. This may seem like a small amount, and it is. The entrance for getting in and out of this location is better than the one in Little Seoul, and that makes it worth getting in my opinion.
As for why it’s better than the Rockford Hills location, it’s $270,000 cheaper, and the Rockford Hills exterior is only slightly better. The travel for missions is basically the same for all three locations, so you might as well save some money and get this location instead. You can put that extra money towards upgrading your business, or just getting some customization for it!
Overall, this is a pretty good location to own if you are interested in purchasing an Agency and saving some money while you do it.
1/4
Hawick Agency
And finally, our pick for the best GTA 5 Online Agency is the Hawick Agency! This is the location that I own, and after having used it for such a long time, I have to say it was well worth the investment. This is a fairly popular Agency to own, so hopefully you won’t mind passing by a player or two every now and then when you go to enter your Agency.
The price of this location is $2,830,000, making this the most expensive Agency in the game! It’s $820,000 more expensive than the least expensive property. So what about this location makes it worth almost a million dollars more? Well, in my experience, a little less than half of the security contracts will spawn in Los Santos. The rest will spawn outside the city, such as in Blane County.
This means that more often than not, you will be closer to these missions than if you were to own the other three properties. If you want to make the most money with this business, then you will want to complete the missions as fast as you possibly can. Additionally, the entrance for this business is by far the easiest out of all the others. The garage is literally right on the road, meaning that getting in and out of this property is a breeze.
Assuming you can afford the price, there are few reasons to not get this location.
