Become the faceless horror, Tenno. Every Warframe invokes fear in their enemies, but few do it so expertly as Dagath. Spreading Doom to anyone who crosses her gaze, Dagath is an unkillable revenant that haunts the battlefield.
If you’ve been wondering how to build this spooky Warframe then look no further. In this build guide, I’ll be going over the best way to build Dagath so she can topple Warframe’s late-game with ease.
Dagath Overview
Stats
- Health: 566 (666 at rank 30)
- Shields: 150 (250 at rank 30)
- Armor: 125
- Energy: 175 (225 at rank 30)
Don’t let Dagath’s low shields and armor fool you, she is one of the tankiest Warframes in the game right now because of her abilities and augment mod.
Passive
Dagath has a 35% chance to activate Abundant Abyss when picking up Health or Energy Orbs. Abundant Abyss increases the effective yield of Health and Energy Orbs by 300%. This passive has no cooldown and can activate on every orb collected.
Abilities
Wyrd Scythes (1st Ability)
Dagath surrounds herself with 7 spectral sickles that expand out dealing Viral damage and slowing any enemies hit. After a short delay the scythes shootout homing in on nearby enemies inflicting Viral damage and Slow.
Dagath’s ability kit is incredibly powerful and her first ability is a perfect example of that. Aside from dealing guaranteed Viral damage, Wyrd Scythes also spread and refresh her unique Doom mechanic which stores damage inflicted on an enemy and hits them with it after a delay or when it is a lethal amount of damage.
Doom (2nd Ability)
Dagath lets out a spectral scream inflicting Viral damage and staggering any enemies hit. Affected enemies are also cursed with Doom which stores a percentage of damage inflicted on the target and hits them with it after a delay or when it becomes lethal.
A good ability if not for the fact that it’s rendered redundant because of Dagaths other abilities. With Wyrd Scythes and the augment for her third ability, we have way better ways of spreading Doom to enemies.
Grave Spirit (3rd Ability)
Dagath attunes her soul with the spectral realm gaining a bonus to Critical Damage on all her equipped weapons while the ability is toggled on. Once cast, Grave Spirit remains active until Dagath suffers a lethal hit in which she enters a spectral form for a short period. In this form, Dagath is invulnerable to damage and each kill guarantees a Health Orb drop.
The bread of butter of this build, Grave Spirit is an incredibly powerful ability that is made even stronger with its augment Spectral Spirit which causes Dagath to immediately enter her spectral form when casting the ability and gives all her weapons and abilities the chance to inflict Doom on enemies.
Rakhali’s Cavalry (4th Ability)
Dagath summons 5 spectral remnants of her trusty steed’s soul, sending them forward in a cavalry charge dealing high damage and stagger to any enemies hit.
Dagath’s capstone ability synergizes excellently with the rest of her kit. Not only does this ability deal massive damage, but if it hits an enemy inflicted with Doom it also permanently strips armor and shields from them. This makes it a great tool for shortening the cooldown on Grave Spirit with its augment attached.
How to Get Dagath
To get Dagath players must build Dagath’s Hollow in the Clan Dojo. The awesome part about this is that after the room is built, Dagath’s blueprints are immediately available without the need for research.
To make her parts, however, players need a unique resource called Vainthorns which can only be obtained from the Abyssal Zone, a unique Exterminate mission on Ceres. To gain access to the Abyssal Zone players must purchase Abyssal Beacons from Faction Syndicates for 5,000 Standing.
Faceless Horror Dagath
This build will be focused around Dagath’s third ability and spreading Doom to as many enemies as fast as possible. Dagath will also be incredibly hard to kill meaning she’ll be perfect for Steel Path.
Mod Choice
The mod choice for this build is as follows:
- Equilibrium: Other than the augment mod, this is the most important mod in this build. Since Dagath’s spectral form will cause every kill to drop Health Orbs, Equilibrium makes sure we also have Energy for our abilities as well as double the chance of activating her passive.
- Spectral Spirit: The augment mod for Grave Spirit, this mod will allow us to enter Dagath’s spectral form at will while also allowing us to spread Doom at will. And whenever our third ability drops we can hit a group of enemies with Rakhali’s Cavalry to shorten its cooldown quickly.
- Blind Rage: Ability Strength benefits every one of Dagath’s abilities. Most importantly it increases her Critical Damage and Doom Critical Damage bonus on her third ability.
- Umbral Intensify: We add Umbral Intensify for the same reason we added Blind Rage. Higher Ability Strength means all of Dagath’s abilities get buffed. If you don’t have a maxed Umbreal Intensify, then any Ability Strength mod will work.
- Prime Continuity: Just like Ability Strength, all of Dagath’s abilities get a buff from more Duration. Slap this on to make all her abilities stronger.
- Stretch: Range will allow Dagath’s Wyrd Scythes and Doom to go further in hitting more enemies, thus spreading more Doom.
- Adaption: Like a lot of Steel Path builds we grab Adaption to add some more survivability to the build. Although Grave Spirit will make us invulnerable for a time, we grab Adaption to keep us alive long enough to reduce the cooldown on Grave Spirit so we can cast it again.
- Primed Flow: We’re going to be gaining a lot of energy because of Dagath’s passive so we’re going to need a larger energy pool to hold it all. Primed Flow gives us enough energy to cast all our abilities since we’re losing efficiency with Blind Rage.
- Brief Respite/Steel Charge: I chose two different aura mods because both can be used effectively. Brief Respite will help with survivability by converting Energy spent into shields. Since we’re using Blind Rage it also gets a boost. Steel Charge can be used if you want to make a melee-focused Dagath which works surprisingly well because of her third ability and Kullervo’s Helminth ability.
Arcanes
- Arcane Blessing: This Arcane is a no-brainer because of Grave Spirit. We’ll be picking up a lot of Health Orbs, so having our Max Health increase for each pickup will increase our survivability by a lot.
- Molt Augmented: Ability Strength is king with this build, so beefing up our Ability Strength per kill will be incredibly beneficial.
Helminth Abilities
When choosing an ability to replace I would recommend Doom. With so many ways to spread Doom, this ability is redundant and can be swapped with no issue.
- Wrathful Advance (Kullervo): I hinted at this before but focusing on melee with Dagath can be very effective. The Critical Damage bonus from Grave Spirit combined with the increased melee Critical Chance from Wrathful Advance pairs well together.
- Ophanim Eyes (Jade): This ability makes spreading Doom even easier than it already is. Because Spectral Spirit allows our Abilities to spread Doom, we basically give Doom to anyone we look at.
- Eclipse (Mirage): A staple for any Warframe that relies on Ability Strength. Not only does it provide a power boost, but the alt-activate for this ability gives us Damage reduction.
Weapons & Gear
There’s nothing special we need to make this build work. If you really want to maximize your damage, pick high-crit weapons that will synergize with Dagath’s Abilities.
