The Best Operator Arcanes in Warframe

Smooth operator.

In a game named Warframe, you’d expect all your time to be focused on upgrading and making your Warframe as deadly as possible. After the release of The Second Dream, however, space ninjas everywhere were introduced to the Operator, the controller of the deadly Warframes we’ve been playing as for years.

After that, we’ve received several ways to upgrade the Operator, and later the Drifter, to help make them a formidable force. One of these ways is Operator-specific Arcanes, and if you’ve been wondering which are the best Operator Arcanes then look no further! In no particular order, here are the best Operator Arcanes to invest your time and platinum into.

Magus Vigor

  • Effect: On Transference out +600 Health at rank 5
  • Source: Bought from The Quills for 2,500 Standing after reaching the rank of Mote

One of the go-to Arcanes for making your Operator tankier, this Arcane is perfect for people getting into Eidolon hunting since you’re mostly in your Operator form for the fight. Even at lower levels, Magus Vigor makes a huge difference.

Magus Husk

  • Effect: On Transference out +300 Armor at rank 5
  • Source: Bought from The Quills for 5,000 Standing after reaching the rank of Observer

Nestled in the same vein as Magus Vigor, this Arcane is perfect for increasing your Operator survivability with more armor. And once again, this Arcane is ideal for fighting Eidolons. Pair this with Magus Vigor and you should have no problem surviving anything the Eidolon throws at you.

Magus Repair

  • Effect: On Void Mode Heal Warframes within 30m by 25% Health/s at rank 5
  • Source: Bought from Vox Solaris Syndicate for 10,000 Standing after reaching the rank of Shadow

So far I’ve talked about keeping our Operator alive, but keeping our Warframe healthy is still important. Magus Repair provides one of the best Warframe healing in the game, being able to fully heal you and your allies in seconds. If nothing else, this Arcane exemplifies the teamwork between Warframe and Operator.

Magus Lockdown

  • Effect: On Void Sling drop a mine that tethers up to 10 enemies in 15m for 4s at rank 5
  • Source: Bought from Vox Solaris Syndicate for 10,000 Standing after reaching the rank of Instrument

Aside from being able to heal your Warframe, the Operator provides some excellent utility that can make your life easier. Magus Lockdown is perfect if you need a little extra CC with your Warframe and can help set easy group kills or Element spreading.

Magus Anomaly

  • Effect: On Transference out, enemies within 30m are pulled towards the Warframe at rank 5
  • Source: Bought from Vox Solaris Syndicate for 10,000 Standing after reaching the rank of Instrument

Another strong CC Arcane, Magus Anomaly is perfect for builds that rely on spreading element procs or dealing AOE damage. A great example is Protea and her Blaze Artillery. Since that ability gets stronger for every enemy hit and deals AOE damage, you can power up her turrets quickly with little effort.

Emergence Renewed

  • Effect: On Energy depleted, increase Energy Regeneration by 300% over 5s
  • Cooldown: 30s
  • Source: Bought from Cavalero for 7,500 Standing  after reaching the rank of Guardian with The Holdfasts
    • Can also be dropped by Thrax Centurion, Thrax Legatus, and Void Angels on the Zariman Ten Zero

Another good Arcane for fighting with your Operator, Emergence Renewed will ensure you’re never without Energy. This Arcane also synergizes well with the Amp Arcane Eternal Onslaught which gives your Amp bonus Critical Chance when your Energy is depleted.
