How to Get Bond Mods in Warframe

Power up your galactic sidekick.

Saving the galaxy from constant threats can be difficult work. Even with the power of the Tenno, it can help to bring some backup for those sticky situations. This is where Companions come in. These loyal pets and followers help you out whenever you need them, but they need to come prepared as well.

With Bond mods, you can ensure your Companions are powerful enough to face the galaxy’s threats by your side. This is why in this guide I’ll be going over what Bond mods are, where you can get them, and how you can use them.

What are Bond Mods

Bond mods are a variety of mods that can be equipped onto your Companions and provide different effects. While many Bond mods are universal amongst the types of Companions you can get, some are specific to certain types like Robotic or Beast.

How to Get Bond Mods

Every Bond mod is split amongst the three open-world Syndicates: The Entrati, Solaris United, and the Ostrons. For the Entrati, these mods are sold by The Son, for Solaris United The Business, and for the Ostrons Master Teasonai.

Now that we know where to get Bond mods, let’s look at all the mods and what they do:

How to Use Bond Mods

Just like the Companions themselves, these mods should be used to help enhance whatever build you’re running. Here are a couple of examples of how Bond mods can be used to enhance builds:

Manifold Bond

This is an excellent mod to put on a Companion like Diriga. Because of its unique ability Arc Coil can hit up to 7 enemies with Electricity Damage. Pair this with Manifold Bond and a sentinel weapon loaded with different elements and you just created an excellent Status Effect spreader.

Reinforced Bond

The effects of Reinforced Bond pair really well with Mesa who wants more fire rate to boost her Regulator Pistol damage. While regular pistol mods can be used to increase the Regulator’s fire rate, using Reinforced Bond pushes that number past what it can usually go. The only downside is that you need a maxed-out Calculated Redirection and a Companion with high enough base Shields to reach the required threshold.

Tandem Bond

Any melee-focused Warframe will want a Combo multiplier to increase the strength of Gladiator mods that increase Critical Chance per Combo. Using the effects of Tandem Bond, you can build a Combo multiplier even faster by having your Companion increase it as well.
