Warframe 1999: The Best Dual Viciss Builds

Take a page out of Scaldra's book.

When in doubt, use the enemy’s weapons against them. It’s a great thing then, that the Scaldra have such great weapons at their disposal. Several new weapons were added to Warframe with the Techrot Encore update, and the Dual Viciss made quite the splash with its arrival.

If you’ve been wondering how to build these dual flayers, look no further. In this guide, I’ll explain how to get the Dual Viciss and the best setups to slice through Steel Path.

Acquisition

Like all the Scaldra weapons, the Dual Viciss can be grabbed from Minerva in the bar in Höllvania. Purchase the parts with Hex Syndicate Standing and build away. To buy everything you need to be rank 5 in the Hex Syndicate.

Stats

The Dual Viciss is a powerful new edition to the dual weapons family. Boasting high damage and high critical stats, these weapons can deal some serious damage. Its main draw, however, comes from its high-status chance and its unique ability.

Unique Trait

Inflicting Gas status with this weapon grants a buff that increases Movement Speed by 8% and Attack Speed by 7% for 10 seconds and stacks 5 times.

Element Spreader Melee Influence Viciss

There are two arcanes that work perfectly for the Dual Viciss; Melee Influence and Melee Vortex. This build will focus on Melee Influence and spreading gas damage to entire rooms clearing them out.

Mods

The mod choice for this build is as follows:

  • Condition Overload: We’ll be spreading status procs to tons of enemies which makes this mod an easy choice for increasing our damage.
  • Galvanized Elementalist: This build is all about applying statuses and this mod will not only increase our status chance by a bunch, but it will also increase the damage those statuses do.
  • Weeping Wounds: A great mod for increasing our status chance some more, Weeping Wounds will buff our status chance based on our Combo Multiplier.
  • Galvanized Steel: Even though this build is focused on status spreading, we don’t want to ignore this weapon’s excellent crit stats. This mod will help with that.
  • Organ Shatter: This mod will ensure we deal high crit damage. A staple for crit builds.
  • Blood Rush: The critical chance version of Weeping Wounds, this mod will help us increase our already impressive crit chance stat.
  • Voltaic Strike/Shocking Touch: We need to deal Electricity Damage to activate our Melee Influence Arcane. Either Voltaic Stroke or Shocking Touch will do, but you need one of these mods for the build to work.
  • Players Choice: We have everything we really need for this build already so this last slot can go to anything you might want to fit your playstyle. If you don’t know what to put, a faction mod is always helpful.

Arcanes

  • Melee Influence: As I mentioned, this build relies on Melee Influence to work since Melee Influence will allow us to spread our gas status effects to groups of enemies.

Deadly Vortex Dual Viciss Build

This build will be very similar to the previous build but will focus on the Melee Vortex Arcane and focus on pulling enemies together to suffer from the gas status effect.

Mods

The mod choice for this build will actually be the exact same as before except for one difference. Instead of Voltaic Strike or Shocking Touch, we’ll be slotting in Magnetic Rush.

Magnetic Rush will allow our weapons to do the Magnetic damage needed to activate Melee Vortex.

Arcanes

  • Melee Vortex: Just like the previous build, only one Arcane works and that’s Melee Vortex. This Arcane will allow enemies killed while affected by Magnetic Statuses to pull nearby enemies closer, allowing the innate gas status to kill everyone at once.
