In a galaxy as dangerous as the one in Warframe, sometimes you just need an upgrade to survive. And just like the Grineer with their Kuva Liches and their meta-defining weapons, so too did the Corpus with Parvos with his creation of the Sisters of Parvos and their Tenet Weapons. If you’re wondering which of the powerful Tenet weapons to go after, look no further than this top Tenet weapons in Warframe guide.
Acquisition
Like the Kuva weapons, most of the Tenet weapons can be gained by creating and defeating a Sister of Parvos Corpus Lich. Each weapon has a chance of dropping from a potential Sister, so if you see a weapon you want to grab, simply refuse to kill the Sister’s candidate until you get the weapon you want.
The rest of the Tenet weapons, the melee, and spearguns, can be purchased from Ergo Glast of the Perrin Sequence in any Relay for Corrupted Holokeys. He will sell them to any Tenno, even if you’re not part of his Syndicate.
Creating a Sister of Parvos
Before you can create Corpus Liches and collect Tenet weapons, you have to finish the quests The War Within and Call of the Tempestarii. You must also reach Mastery Rank 5 before potential candidates begin showing up.
Once all the prerequisites are completed, you can spawn a Candidate by running a Corpus Ship tileset and completing the Granum Void challenges (interacting with the giant golden hand), and qualifying for Rank 1 rewards on Nightmare Difficulty. This means when interacting with the giant golden hand you must use the Zenith Granum Crown to enter the Granum Void.
Once that’s done a Sister of Parvos candidate will spawn on the tileset and it’s as simple as defeating her and elevating her to become your new lich. The weapon she spawns with will be shown above her head. After that, you must hunt down and defeat your new Corpus Lich to receive the weapon.
5 – Tenet Diplos
The first weapon on this list, and my favorite secondary in the game, is the Tenet Diplos. A pair of dual briefcase machine pistols, these guns are very powerful with high critical chance, fire rate, and magazine size and the ability to reload ammo while holstered.
Unfortunately, these weapons are brought down by their gimmick of locking onto the heads of enemies while aiming. Why nice on paper, the mechanic is clunky and it’s usually better to just full auto any enemy you come across.
Stats
- Damage: 28 (40% Impact)
- Crit Chance: 36%
- Crit Multiplier: 2.2x
- Status Chance: 14%
- Fire Rate: 9.76 attacks/s
4 – Tenet Cycron
The Corpus version of the Kuva Nukor, the Tenet Cycron is a beam pistol with improved stats compared to its non-Tenet variant. This weapon has a high-Status Chance, beaten only by the Embolist and Kuva Nukor. This makes the Tenet Cycron an excellent candidate as a primer weapon to inflict status’ on groups of enemies.
Stats
- Damage: 22 (100% Heat)
- Crit Chance: 20%
- Crit Multiplier: 1.8x
- Status Chance: 40%
- Fire Rate: 12 attacks/s
3 – Tenet Glaxion
The most recent addition to the Tenet family, the Tenet Glaxion is a Corpus beam rifle that does cold damage and can chain to groups of enemies. It also comes with incredibly high Status Chance and Accuracy meaning you can target groups of enemies from a distance and dominate them with status’. You can also use the Glaxion exclusive mod Photon Overcharge which provides +90% Critical Damage on kills or assists with an increased chance of dropping energy orbs.
While its Critical stats are not the highest, they’re in the perfect spot that investing in them can make Glaxion very strong.
Stats
- Damage: 34 (100% Cold)
- Crit Chance: 20%
- Crit Multiplier: 2.2x
- Status Chance: 40%
- Fire Rate: 12 attacks/s
2 – Tenet Tetra
The next weapon on this list is the not-often-talked-about Tenet Tetra. While seemingly slipping under the radar of many players, the Tenet Tetra is one of the best assault rifles in the game.
This is in part due to its higher base stats compared to its non-Tenet variant, but mostly due to its alternative fire mode. The alt-fire mode for the Tenet Tetra uses any remaining ammo in your magazine to launch a grenade.
Where most assault rifles in the game don’t have a way to effectively room clear, the Tenet Tetra fixes this problem. It can even use the Tetra-only mods Focused Acceleration and Kinetic Ricochet if you want to speed up the weapon’s bullet speed and give it some bounce.
Stats
- Damage: 60 (56% Puncture)
- Crit Chance: 28%
- Crit Multiplier: 2.2x
- Status Chance: 30%
- Fire Rate: 5 attacks/s
1 – Tenet Envoy
Finally, we have the Tenet Envoy, the briefcase that promises to liven up any Corpus board meeting. This Tenet weapon is a missile launcher that can have its projectiles guided while aiming.
This launcher has incredibly high accuracy, high Critical Chance, and a high Critical Multiplier. Even better, the weapon’s initial hit and resulting explosion both have a chance of applying for statuses.
Stats
- Damage: 100 (100% Impact)
- Crit Chance: 28%
- Crit Multiplier: 2.6x
- Status Chance: 24%
- Fire Rate: .83 attacks/s
- (Rocket Explosion Stats)
- Damage: 640 (100% Cold)
- Crit Chance: 28%
- Crit Multiplier: 2.6x
- Status Chance: 24%
- Range: 8.0 m
