Ever since her introduction back in Season 9: Legacy, Valkyrie has been a fairly popular Legend due to her high mobility and strong tactical. She is arguably one of the most fun Legends to use in the whole game, as her jetpack allows her to quickly and easily move around the map. It shouldn’t be a surprise then that Respawn has given Valkyrie several different legendary skins that Valk mains can use to express themselves. So what are the best Valkyrie skins in Apex Legends?
Whether you want something colorful and flashy or something a bit more practical, there’s something for you on this list of all legendary Valkyrie skins in Apex Legends, ranked.
All Legendary Valkyrie Skins, From Good to Best Valkyrie Skins Overall
Let’s get right into the main event!
15/15
Air Show
First up on our ranking is Air Show! This skin features a gray, blue, and gold color scheme. Though I personally would have preferred gold as the primary color over the gray, the model looks good, and it’s a solid skin overall.
This legendary cosmetic first made its way into Apex Legends during September 2021. It’s been almost a year since then and it has yet to return! I can’t imagine this will stay hidden forever, but it might be a while before it ever returns to store shelves.
14/15
Military Grade
The next Valkyrie skin on our list is Military Grade! This US Army-inspired look features an olive green and gray color palette, and actually looks mostly practical for a real combat encounter. If you’re looking for something (somewhat) realistic and believable, this is the skin for you!
You can even pick it up right away, if you’re so inclined. It costs a total of 1,200 crafting metals and can be found at any time by going into the cosmetic menu for Valk. After you find the legendary skins section, all you need to do is craft it and it will be all yours!
13/15
Titan Tested
Next up, we have the skin Titan Tested. This orange, white, and pink skin looks like something out of a 90s Transformers cartoon! The model is very well made, and its playful color scheme goes great with it. Despite sharing a similar model to other skins that belong to Valk, this one manages to get creative and stand out among some of the others. I recommend this skin if you want something simple.
You can craft Titan Tested, provided you have the minimum 1,200 crafting metals needed. It can be found simply by going into the cosmetics menu for Valkyrie, which can be accessed at any time before starting a match.
12/15
Ultra Legend
Ultra Legend is another great Valkyrie skin you should consider picking up. Its colors are baby blue and red, both of which compliment one another quite nicely. The body armor Valk is wearing looks very good, and I love the added symbols across the chest piece. Her wings are red and blue with a white strip going up them, and they are my favorite part about this cosmetic item. Very patriotic!
This skin is a re-color of Military Grade, and costs a total of 10,500 Legend Tokens to purchase. It first made its debut back in February, and since it’s been quite a few months since its last appearance, it’s likely to come back into rotation very soon.
11/15
Cloud Marauder
For our next skin on our list of all legendary Valkyrie skins in Apex Legends ranked, we have the Cloud Marauder skin! This unique-looking cosmetic sports a teal blue and gray color palette. The body armor and arm guards look great, and Valkyrie even gets a nice new haircut! Not to mention that the red headband looks really good.
The Cloud Marauder skin first appeared in 2021 and has not yet made an appearance in stores since then. Because of this, the skin is very rare and hard to encounter in public lobbies. I recommend picking this up if you like rare skins (if it ever returns, that is). Given how long ago it last appeared, I think it’s bound to show up sooner or later.
10/15
Golden Opportunity
Up next we have the Golden Opportunity skin! This very pretty and lavish skin features a golden-brown color palette, with some dark gray highlights and not much else. The model for this skin is shared with several others in the game, but still looks incredible nonetheless. It’s a medieval fantasy armor motif with lots of fancy engravings on the metal. I recommend it if you love gold-colored skins.
This skin is one of several that can be crafted from Valk’s cosmetic menu. All you need to do is select Valk from the main menu and go into her skins section. Once you find Golden Opportunity, simply craft it for a total of 1,200 crafting metals.
9/15
Fluorescent Tech
Now for one of the most colorful and vibrant skins on this ranking, it’s the Fluorescent Tech skin! This eye-catching cosmetic features a hot pink and cyan color palette, with lots of additional shades of blue. The model makes Valkyrie look like a K-Pop idol or someone out of a cyberpunk game. Either way, it’s a really good-looking skin that I recommend if you love vibrant and bright cosmetics!
This skin was introduced back in July of this year. Since it was so recently released, we’ll likely be waiting a long time before it comes back to store shelves. We’ll just have to be patient!
8/15
Slingshot
Slingshot is the next skin on our ranking. It features a special color scheme of candy red and olive green with pink highlights. The model gives Valk some militaristic armor and looks like it would be pretty practical for a battle area like the Apex Games. She also sports a unique gas mask across her face (though it sadly isn’t functional and doesn’t protect you from gas traps). It does, however, look really good.
The release date for this skin was April earlier this year. As of the time of this article, it has yet to return outside of its Season 12 release date. Because of this, I think it is reasonable to expect it to appear in store rotations sometime in the near future.
7/15
Azure Blessing
Taking spot number seven is the Azure Blessing legendary skin! This wonderfully creative cosmetic item features a steel-blue and red color scheme. The model appears to be inspired by a fantasy RPG, with lots of intricate engravings on the metal. The helmet features a metal wing motif, with a giant red gemstone taking center stage! This is probably one of the more unique skins for Valk in the game.
This legendary cosmetic item is available to be crafted at any time by players. All you need to do is go into Valkyrie’s cosmetic menu before a match and select it out of the other legendary skins available. It will cost you 1,200 crafting metals in total before you can wear it.
6/15
Omatsuri Fury
Taking the next spot is the Omatsuri Fury skin! This very special skin features a blue and yellow color palette with brown and orange highlights. I really like the unique “wings” on this model, as well as the headband that Valk wears across her forehead. This is a really cool skin if you love Japanese culture!
The skin first appeared back in 2021 during Season 9. Ever since its first release, this legendary cosmetic item has made several returns in and out of the Apex Legends item shop due to its popularity with players. This means that it will most likely return again at least once before the end of this year.
5/15
Blue Bomber
Up next we have the Blue Bomber skin! This is a re-color of the Birthright skin (more on that later). It features a yellow and blue color scheme, which looks really nice together. The skin is meant to be a reference to Viper, a boss character from the game Titanfall 2. Fitting, as Valkyrie is Viper’s daughter! The model for this cosmetic item looks great, and it’s perfect for all Titanfall 2 fans.
The last time we saw this skin released to the public was in December last year. Because of how long ago it was, it’s likely to return sometime in the near future in a store rotation. The skin does not require you to own the original Birthright skin in order to be purchased.
4/15
Air Orchid
The next one on our list is the Air Orchid legendary cosmetic! This unique, cyberpunk-looking skin gives Valk a complete makeover. Her colors are purple and gray, which fit perfectly for the model. Speaking of which, she now has a pair of futuristic visors with lots of metal wires engrained into her skin. The armor is nothing special, but it still looks good and fits very nicely with the rest of this skin.
Air Orchid was first released in February of 2022. If you want to get your hands on this skin, you can expect it to re-appear for the next Anniversary Event. While there is no guarantee it will be one of the returning skins, that event (which takes place every February) is likely your best bet for purchasing this unique cosmetic item.
3/15
Aerial Evolution
Bringing home the bronze medal on our list for all legendary Valkyrie skins in Apex Legends ranked, it’s the Aerial Evolution skin! This is a very adorable skin with a pink and purple color palette to it. It gives Valk goggles and wings to make her look like a flying insect! The skin is incredibly unique, and it really fits for a flying legend like Valkyrie. If you want something cute and feminine, this is a good skin to choose.
The skin made its release to the public as a cosmetic item in the premium version of the Apex Legends Season 10 battle pass. We currently do not have an idea if this skin will return. Considering how unlikely it is for a skin from a battle pass to make a return, I don’t think we’ll ever see this item in shops. You might have to buy an Apex account that already owns it, otherwise, you’re out of luck! Sorry.
2/15
Higher Learning
In Second place on our ranking list is the Higher Learning legendary skin. This is a very beautiful cosmetic item with a purplish-red and silver color scheme. The armor looks like something out of a fantasy RPG, with beautiful (Elven? Nordic?) engravings, and even a fancy horned helmet! Everything on this skin just fits so nicely together, from the colors to the armor itself — it’s all perfect!
The last time this skin saw the light of day was during June earlier this year. It costs 10,500 Legend Tokens to craft, and can only be acquired if you already own the Azure Blessing skin mentioned earlier. Since this was released recently, it will likely be a long while until it returns to store shelves.
1/15
Birthright
Taking the number one spot on our list is the legendary skin Birthright! This is a beautiful and unique legendary skin that features a red and yellow color scheme. It takes very close inspiration from Valk’s father, Viper, who you fight in Titanfall 2. This skin is a must-have for fans of the Titanfall series or those who are just looking for a really awesome skin to wear for Valk. It’s definitely my favorite skin.
The Birthright skin saw its debut around the launch of Season 9. It was sold to players as part of a lunch bundle for Valkyrie to celebrate her arrival at the Apex Games. As of right now, it is unknown when — if ever — this skin will return again to the item shop. But considering how popular the skin was, I wouldn’t be surprised if it came back soon.
