Best Mirage Skins in Apex Legends: All Legendary Mirage Skins, Ranked

We all know Mirage as the lovable, charismatic goofball of Apex Legends. He’s been the same since day one, and has spent his time in the Apex Games winning players over with his charm and humor. Not to mention his penchant for creating holographic decoys to fool his enemies! If you’ve decided to main him for either of these reasons, chances are you’re looking to spice him up with some customization.

If you’re looking for the best Mirage skins in Apex Legends, you’ve landed in the right place. We’ve compiled all his best legendary skins in a single ranking to help you decide which option is best for you.

Best Mirage Skins in Apex Legends, All Legendary Skins Ranked From Okay to Best

Make sure to follow the links provided below to take a closer look at the legendary skins. Without any more delays, let’s get right into this ranking for all the legendary Mirage skins in Apex Legends!

24/24

Chuckles the Barrelman

Best Mirage Skins - Chuckles the Barrelman

First up on the list, we have Chuckles the Barrelman! This is a cowboy clown skin that looks more creepy than it does cool. It’s got a yellow, blue, red, and white color palette. Mirage is wearing some clown face paint, which doesn’t make this costume look any less bizarre.

The skin first made its debut in the year 2021, during Season 9. As of September 2022, the skin has yet to make a return, and most likely won’t for a while due to the fact that it wasn’t incredibly popular when it first came out. It may return in the future as a re-color, however.

23/24

Center Stage

Best Mirage Skins - Center Stage

The next one we’ll be discussing is the Center Stage skin! This is a white and red re-color of an existing skin in the game called Angel City Hustler. Personally, I’m not a big fan of this color palette. While red and white can look good together, the colors are so bright that it’s a little hard on the eyes. The model for the skin looks fine, however.

For players looking to buy, you should know that the last time this skin was made available for sale was November 2021. And before that, it made its first appearance in April 2019. With this in mind, you may have to wait a bit before the skin makes its return to store shelves.

22/24

Man Made Man

Man Made Man - Best Mirage Skins
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

Next up on our list of all legendary Mirage skins in Apex Legends ranked, it’s Man Made Man! This legendary cosmetic item gives Mirage a dark gray, red, and blue color palette. The skin itself is very interesting, and it makes him look like a character from a Marvel movie! Take a look at the skin for yourself here.

If you’ve been playing since Season 4, you may recognize this skin from 2020. It first appeared in a collection event and has since returned to the game only twice. The most recent time was in April earlier this year. Before that, it was in December 2021. Judging by this pattern, the skin will always return once a year.

21/24

The Prestige

Next up on our ranking is The Prestige legendary skin! This skin features a black and red color palette. The model gives Mirage a stylish look that makes him look like he’s hitting a nightclub. The color palette isn’t really my favorite, and unless you really like black and red, I would skip this for another skin.

This legendary item is available to all players at all times. All you need to do to get it is go to the cosmetics menu for Mirage and unlock it for 1,200 crafting materials. This is handy if you don’t want to wait for a rare skin to come back to the store.

20/24

Seafoam Swindler

Seafoam Swindler - Best Mirage Skins
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

Seafoam Swindler is the name of the next skin on our list. It gives Mirage a teal and gray color scheme, which is a unique (but good-looking) combination. The model for this skin gives him a suit of skin-tight armor, which looks pretty good. I definitely recommended it if you love the color blue.

This legendary skin has appeared a total of three times in its lifespan: once in May 2020, then during both April and June of 2022. Because of how recently it came back, I think you might have to wait a while before it returns. This could be 2023, or even longer if they decide to skip a year like they did in 2021.

19/24

The Wisecracker

The Wisecracker - All Legendary Mirage Skins, Ranked
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For our next legendary skin, we have the Christmas-themed outfit for Mirage, known as The Wisecracker! This is a red and white skin with a nutcracker theme to it. It gives him a lovable holiday beard, a nutcracker soldier outfit, and a headpiece to match! This is a pretty good-looking skin, but it does feel a bit weird wearing it outside of the holidays.

The skin first appeared in the game around Christmas 2019 as part of the winter event for that year. It is an annually releasing skin, coming back to the store each and every holiday season since it was first released. If you want to buy it, you’ll have to wait until then to get it.

18/24

Desert Mirage

Desert

Desert Mirage is the next skin on our ranking. This one doesn’t really fit Mirage’s character all that well, but I’m willing to let it slide, as it reminds me a lot of Titanfall 2! The skin has a lot of natural colors, with some orange and blue here and there to spice it up. The helmet Mirage is wearing here is the best part, and I think it looks really cool.

This skin could only be acquired if you purchased and leveled up the Season 11 Battle Pass. As of right now, there is no way to obtain a skin outside of a Battle Pass, meaning that you missed your chance with this one. There are better skins on the list, so don’t feel to bad about it.

17/24

Pit Crew

Pit Crew - Best Mirage Skins
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For our next pick, we have the skin Pit Crew! Pit Crew gives Mirage a stylish orange and blue color palette. The model for this cosmetic gives him a chain necklace, a stylish new pair of goggles, and a nice-looking jacket. It’s the perfect skin for someone who likes standing out from the crowd.

The skin first appeared in Apex Legends in November 2019. After that, it reappeared twice, during March and December 2021. Because of this, I think it is very likely it will return sometime before the end of 2022. Just be sure to check out the item store often!

16/24

The Revenger

The Revenger
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG / Koby Gibson Ross

For our next spot on the list, let’s take a look at The Revenger. This yellow and gray skin gives Mirage a look that really makes him stand out from the crowd. He is wearing a suit of skin-tight armor. There aren’t that many details on the armor itself, but from what we got, it all looks well-modeled.

This is one of several skins that are available for all players without the need to buy them from a store rotation or bundle. You do need to spend 1,200 crafting materials in order to unlock it for use, however. This skin is fairly common because of this reason, so don’t buy this one if you really like rare skins!

15/24

The Dark Artist

The Dark Artist Mirage
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For our next legendary cosmetic item, we have The Dark Artist. This skin is a little overrated, in my opinion, but it still looks good. It gives Mirage a black and gray color scheme with orange highlights. The model looks like a suit of skin-tight armor. Overall, it’s not a bad skin, it’s just pretty basic. I wish it had some colors that stood out more, but alas.

If you’re interested in snagging this skin for yourself, you should know it appeared last time during the summer of 2022. Before that, it appeared in a rotation during the month of September 2021, and once before that in March during the year 2019. So it may be a year or so until this skin makes its comeback!

14/24

Angel City Hustler

Angel City Hustler
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG / Koby Gibson Ross

For spot number fourteen on our list, we have Angel City Hustler! This is a predominantly green skin, with orange and gray as secondary colors. The skin gives Mirage a nice-looking jacket that makes him look like a street rapper, almost. He has a gold chain and that same signature smile plastered across his face!

For only 1,200 crafting materials, you can obtain this item at any time from the skin section of Mirage’s cosmetic menu. It is available for purchase 24/7 and does not need to be unlocked during an event or through any kind of challenge. A perfect skin to buy if you just started playing as Mirage and don’t have any other legendary skins for him!

13/24

Captain Bamboozle

Captain Bamboozle - Best Mirage Skins
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

Our next pick for this list is Captain Bamboozle! This is one of many pirate-themed skins you can find in Apex Legends. Mirage sports some dreadlocks for his hair, as well as a snazzy, red and black pirate outfit. I really like the knives strapped across his chest, as well as the headband he is wearing here!

This legendary skin first appeared all the way back in 2019, while Season 2 was still active. The last time it appeared was earlier this year in April. Because of this huge gap of time between releases, you’ll likely have to wait a year or two before it comes back.

12/24

Red Carpet

Red Carpet - Best Mirage Skins
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For our next spot, we have Red Carpet! This creepy-looking skin gives Mirage a gold and red color scheme. He is made to look like a robotic cyborg that has been damaged and repaired with gold fillings! It’s definitely an interesting skin and one that I had a hard time placing on this list. I do really admire all of the detail put into this one, even if I wish it fit Mirage’s personality a bit more.

This skin was released once during Season 8 a year ago, and then again in early 2022 for Lunar New Year. The skin will most likely appear again sometime in 2023 if we follow this pattern. It may return for an event like it did on Lunar New Year, or it might just be released again in a regular store rotation.

11/24

Old Town

Old Town - Best Mirage Skins
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For our next one, we have the legendary skin Old Town! This is a wild-west-themed Mirage skin that has a brown and blue color scheme. Mirage is given an old-fashioned sheriff’s hat and a bright red bandana to add a splash of color to his attire. While this skin isn’t as flashy as some of the other ones on the list, it gets bonus points purely for the fact that it lets you be a cowboy in Apex Legends.

This was originally a Halloween skin that could be unlocked in October 2019. Ever since this first release date, it has reappeared in every Halloween event. If you’re looking to pick up this skin, then it’s practically guaranteed you’ll be able to buy it during this year’s event in October.

10/24

Ghost Machine

Ghost Machine
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG / Koby Gibson Ross

For the next pick on this ranking, we’ll be taking a look at the skin Ghost Machine. This is a great-looking skin that dresses Mirage out in white and red. The colors are not super bright here, so unlike a previous skin that had this same combo, it looks much more pleasing to the eyes. I especially like the digital camo that takes up part of Mirage’s armor.

Ghost Machine can be purchased by players at any time from Mirage’s cosmetics menu in-between matches. It will set you back a total of 1,200 crafting materials. The skin is definitely well worth the price, as long as you’re okay with owning a skin that is fairly common to see worn by other players.

9/24

Perfect Illusion

Perfect Illusion - Best Mirage Skins
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

Up next on this ranking of all legendary Mirage skins in Apex Legends, we have Perfect Illusion! This is a brown, black, and yellowish-gold colored skin. It shares the same model as The Prestige, and it looks even better with this color scheme! Gold and brown have always looked really nice together, in my opinion.

The first and only appearance of this skin in the Apex store was during August 2021. Because it’s been over a year since it last returned, I think it’s likely to come back sometime before the end of 2022 or by early 2023.

8/24

Fool’s Gold

Fool's Gold
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG / Koby Gibson Ross

Up next is one of my personal favorite skins for Mirage, Fool’s Gold! I can’t tell if they were going for a pirate look or a 15th-century explorer outfit, but either way, it looks great! This skin comes with a gold, red, and steel color palette to it. The outfit is riddled with detail, and my favorite part is Mirage’s hat, which has a feather attached to the back of it.

You could only obtain this one in the Season 5 Battle Pass. Players would need to reach at least Rank 25 in order to unlock it for use. This skin sadly cannot be obtained anymore due to this fact, which sucks, as it’s a very nice-looking skin.

7/24

Boogie Down

Boogie Down - All Legendary Mirage Skins, Ranked
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For spot number seven on our list, we have the legendary skin Boogie Down! This is a gold and silver-colored outfit, which is a combo that gives him a luxurious look. The skin looks very gorgeous, like something you’d find at a party in Olympus. The only thing I dislike about this skin is Mirage’s lack of facial hair, which makes him look creepy. If not for that, this skin would be much higher up.

This legendary cosmetic item was first introduced way back in Season 7 and has reappeared a total of three times since that first date. The skin will most likely come back in early 2023 at the earliest, based on when it has re-appeared in the past.

6/24

Lit Witt

Lit Witt Mirage Skin
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For our next spot, let’s talk about the legendary skin Lit Witt! This is a colorful skin with a yellow, white, and orange color palette. Additionally, it shows Mirage wearing a party getup that makes him look like a DJ! I really love the look of his goggles here — orange with two cyan-colored Xs over the eyes. He even has the word “Bamboozled” tattooed across his chest, which is a detail that I really love!

The last time (and also the only time) players could buy this skin was during the Aniversary Collection Event, which occurred earlier this year. Due to its popularity, it is likely it will come back sometime in the future. Most likely in a bundle in the store.

5/24

Marked Man

Marked Man

Marked Man is our next pick for all legendary Mirage skins in Apex Legends, ranked. The color palette for this skin is white, red, and blue, which all blends together nicely. This gives our lovable goofball a more sporty, athletic look. He looks a lot like a mountain skier wearing a suit of battle armor! The mask that Mirage wears here is my favorite part, and it really completes the look for me.

Its first appearance was during Season 13, during July just a few months ago. Thankfully, the skin is currently available fo repurchase from the cosmetics menu for Mirage! Just navigate to the skins section for Mirage and you’ll be able to purchase and unlock it for exactly 2,400 crafting materials. It’s not exactly cheap, but it’s definitely worth the price!

4/24

Swish-Buckler

Swish Buckler Mirage
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

Now for another pirate-themed skin, we have the cosmetic Swish-Buckler! This is a legendary skin that is noticeably darker in its color palette than the other skin, with black and red being the dominate colors here. The skin shares the same model as the Captain Bamboozle skin, but the new coat of paint makes it look so much more attractive!

You can obtain this item by purchasing it through a store rotation. It has only ever made its appearance in the store twice. Once in 2022 during the month of January, and for the first time before that as a part of the War Games limited-time event in 2021.

3/24

Folk Hero

Folk Hero Mirage
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For our next spot on the ranking, it’s the skin Folk Hero! This is a red and gold-colored skin that reminds me a lot of Iron Man. It gives Mirage a nice suit of armor, which makes him really look like a super hero. This skin definitely has the best color palette out of the other ones that share the same model.

The last time we ever saw this skin was during February 2020. As of yet, it has not yet returned, making it one of the rarer skins on this list.

2/24

The Show Stopper

The Show Stopper - All Legendary Mirage Skins, Ranked
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

For the next legendary skin on our ranking, let’s take a second to discuss The Show Stopper! This gives our boy Mirage a white, gray, brown, and blue color palette. The skin itself makes him look like a cowboy from space! I really like the visor that he is given, and the cowboy hat in white looks great.

The Show Stopper skin could originally be purchased at anytime with the Legend Edition, but this has since been pulled from store shelves. It will now rotate in and out of the Apex Legends item shop like it would any other skin. The last time this skin was being sold was earlier this summer in the month of June.

1/24

Night Crawler

Night Crawler
Image: Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts via HGG

Another one of my personal favorite skins for Mirage, it’s the Night Crawler skin! While this skin may not exactly fit Mirage’s personality, it at least has a similar color palette to his default skin (yellow and black). It features a much more militaristic and tactical look, which fits right in a battle royale FPS. And the mask here is to die for.

This skin recently returned to the in-store rotations in July earlier this year. Aside from that, the only other time that this skin was available was in November of 2021. This means that the skin is likely to return in the future, most likely in early to mid-2023.
