Fuse is one of the lesser popular Legends in Apex Legends, but he’s also one of the most enjoyable characters to play. His kit is simplistic and doesn’t completely change the game, but it’s still enough to make him worth playing even in the current meta.
If you main this DPS powerhouse, you’re probably in the market for the best Fuse skins. As of the current season, there are twelve of them in total. They each look great in their own right, but not all legendary skins are the same. Because of this, we will be ranking each one from worst to best so you can decide which to get.
Let’s get started!
Best Fuse Skins: All Legendary Fuse Skins Ranked From Good to Best Overall
Be sure to follow the links provided to the Apex Item Store, which provides extra information on each of the respective skins.
With that out of the way, let’s get right into this article for all the best Fuse Skins, ranked!
12. Silver Fox
First up on our list is the Silver Fox legendary skin. This is a simplistic re-color of the Old Gold legendary skin. The model for this one gives him a cowboy aesthetic and makes him look like a performer from a rodeo! The re-color turns his armor a beautiful shade of silver and even dyes his hair a different color. It is fairly basic, making it not the best option if you want something eye-catching.
The skin was added to the game in a store rotation in earlier 2022. In addition to costing 1,200 Crafting Metals for the Old Gold skin, it will cost you 10,500 Legend Tokens for this re-color. That isn’t too big of a price, as Legend Tokens are the most common currency type in all of Apex Legends. Since it requires the Old Gold skin already, I recommend sticking to that and skipping this recolor altogether.
11. Sir Fitzroy
Next up, we have the Sir Fitzroy skin! This medieval-themed armor set features a gray and red color palette with green highlights at certain parts of his body. The helmet is the most unique part of this piece, as it gives Fuse a medieval knight look! I’m not a big fan of the model they went for on his ultimate, but it’s still a good-looking skin regardless.
This skin was put into the game and released for the public during the launch of Season 13. It’s featured in the game’s Battle Pass, so you’ll need to level up your Battle Pass to Level 25 in order to unlock this special skin. Purchasing the Battle Pass does cost you, however. It will set you back 950 Apex Coins in total, but you can buy the bundle for 2,800 Coins, which automatically gets you to Level 25!
10. Animal Instinct
Next, we have the Animal Instinct skin. This wild skin gives Fuse’s armor a chrome, gray, and yellow color scheme, which looks surprisingly good together. He gets a metallic mask across his face, with a glowing red eye in one of its sockets. The model isn’t really my favorite design, but at least it stands out more than Silver Fox. It’s a pretty rare skin to find, so if you like rare skins, then get this one!
This skin was added not too long ago during the Awakening Collection Event. Despite it coming out recently, not many players picked it up, so it isn’t that common. Since it came out so recently, I wouldn’t expect it to be in store rotations anytime soon. The skin cost 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metal to buy.
9. Real Steel
Next up on this ranking is the Real Steel legendary skin! This is a rough and tough skin that gives Fuse black and chrome armor. It’s a great color combination, though it doesn’t pop out as much as some of the other skins on this list. His exposed left arm reveals what looks like claw marks, which is a nice little detail. The whole skin makes him look like a chrome Iron Man with a cybernetic arm!
This skin used to run you 1,800 Apex Coins. The last time it was available was back in December of last year, and hasn’t returned since. It was originally released as a part of a launch bundle for the character in February, also of last year. I imagine it will return to shelves eventually, but you may have to wait a little bit.
8. Man-O-War
Next up is the Man-O-War legendary skin. This is our first pirate-themed skin on this list. It showcases Fuse as a swashbuckling pirate captain, complete with an eye patch, peg leg, and all the other bells and whistles! I especially love the color palette in this skin, with blue and white striped legs and an emerald green coat. The whole thing looks great together, and I definitely recommend picking it up.
Like most legendary skins, the piece will cost you 1,800 Apex Coins or 1,200 Crafting Metals. This is one of the few legendary skins that can be crafted right from Fuse’s cosmetic menu. All you need to do is select Fuse from the main menu and go into the skins section, and it will be sitting around the top of the list. While this is convenient, it does make the skin less rare (if that’s something you care about).
7. Cybernetic Payload
The next skin on our ranking is the Cybernetic Payload skin! This futuristic get-up turns the lovable Fuse into a terrifying cyborg! He gets glowing orange wires that run through his skin, as well as a different model for his robotic arm and some intimidating shoulder pads. His cybernetic eye is the best part of this legendary skin, and it adds a great touch that brings the whole thing together.
This legendary skin was released as a part of the Evolution Collection event. This was a limited-time event that occurred during Season 10 about a year ago. The only time this skin has returned has been in a store rotation back in May earlier this year. It originally cost players 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metals. It was a pricy skin, but it was well worth it for the looks.
6. Dread Captain
One of the most beloved pirate-themed skins on this list is the Dread Captain skin! If you loved the undead pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean, then you’ll love this skin as well. It gives Fuse a pirate outfit with a teal and gold color scheme. He even comes with a peg leg and a big golden buckle with the skull and bones logo! He may not be a skeleton, but his skin is ghostly pale and covered in barnacles.
The Dread Captain skin is one of the skins you can purchase at any time from the cosmetic menu for Fuse. Crafting the skin for yourself will cost you a total of 1,200 Crafting Metals. This is a pretty great value for a skin of this quality, so I definitely recommend picking it up if you can.
5. Scallywag
Another pirate skin, Scallywag combines the best of both Fuse’s pirate skins. It features his familiar pirate getup, but diluted in color and with bits of seaweed draping parts of his body. He is missing the ghostly pale skin in favor of his normal self. Many people may not like this, but I actually prefer his normal skin. The outfit overall is darker in color, which I personally think looks a lot better!
Getting your hands on this skin involve first purchasing the Dread Captain skin, which will cost you a total of 1,800 Apex Coins. Once you have Dread Captain, you can purchase this re-color for 10,500 Legend Tokens. The last time we saw this skin available in store rotation was in May earlier this year. Considering how recent that was, you may be waiting a bit for it to return.
4. Natural Born Daredevil
Now for one of my personal favorite skins, it’s the Natural Born Daredevil! This uniquely colorful skin showcases Fuse as a daredevil performer! I love the white, blue, and orange colors on this skin. And the hot rod flames on Fuse’s ultimate? Very nice. This is a good skin to get purely for the color combinations alone. The model itself looks fantastic as well, and I love the look of his robotic arm!
This skin has been available for Fuse since the first day of his release. It can be found by going to the skin section of his cosmetic menu. Like all legendary skins, it will cost you exactly 1,200 Crafting Metals to make. Since this skin can be crafted from this menu at any time, it isn’t as rare as some of the other skins on this list.
3. Old Gold
Starting out our top three for all legendary Fuse skins ranked, it’s my absolute favorite skin: Old Gold! This is a beautifully shiny skin with a brown and gold color scheme, which looks amazing together. The model is more-or-less the same as the Natural Born Daredevil skin. There are intricate patterns across his chest and legs, as well as some stars scattered across the model for extra detail!
This is another skin that’s been available since the start of Season 8. It can be made at any time by going into Fuse’s cosmetic menu and crafting it for 1,200 Crafting Metals. This skin is one of the more popular ones available for Fuse, and it isn’t hard to see why. Just keep this in mind before purchasing (I know some players prefer rarer, less worn skins instead).
2. Boared to Death
If you are a fan of the wild, wild west, you’ll surely love our second-place pick! The Boared to Death skin (no, that’s not a typo) gives Fuse a space cowboy theme. He features a brown and black set of leather armor with a really nice beard. The outfit features some light blue highlights, as well as some shiny metal armor parts. And it wouldn’t be a cowboy outfit without that signature cowboy hat!
The skin last came to the store rotations earlier this year in March. It was first introduced to the game back in May 2021. Players had to fork over a total of 2,500 Apex Coins the first time, and a reduced price of 2,150 Apex Coins the second time it went into the store. I wouldn’t expect it to return for a while, given how recently it was in the store.
1. Broseidon
And last but most certainly not least, the number one skin on our ranking is the Broseidon skin! This legendary outfit gives Fuse a look fit for the gods. He wears a Greek toga, and the rest of his color scheme is deep blue and tan with ocean themes. He even comes with a long gray beard to top things off!
This wonderful skin first came to the game (officially, I mean: the leak didn’t count) in January of 2022. It could be obtained only during its respective event, either by purchasing event packs or buying it directly. The price was a whopping 2,400 Crafting Metals or 1,800 Apex Coins, which is pretty crazy. Luckily, this skin has been added to the cosmetic’s menu for Fuse and you can craft it right now!
