The Grafted Blade Greatsword can only be found at one location — Castle Morne. This is a moderate-sized dungeon that can be found in Southern Limgrave. You’ll need to travel south, heading all the way down to the very tip of the peninsula. It’s a big castle, and it’s hard to miss.

You’ll know you’ve arrived when you find a crumbling castle filled to the brim with dead bodies and the remains of a great battle. The servants here have revolted against the soldiers and noblemen of the castle. Seemingly, they’re the only survivors of this once great fortification.

Upon entering the front gate, you’ll need to travel through a courtyard and then head left up a ladder. From here, you’ll need to explore the castle a bit, fighting off the various enemies that remain, looting any corpses you find, etc.

Eventually, you’ll find yourself on the other side of the castle, on a beach populated by what appear to be jellyfish. These aren’t hostile unless you attack them, so don’t stress about killing them (unless you need the runes). Feel free to explore, but don’t go too far out into the water, or you’ll fall into an abyss and die!

On the end of the beach opposite the castle, you will find a gate with a yellow-colored mist blocking your path. Walk up to it and interact with it to enter the next area and begin the boss fight.

Beating Leonine Misbegotten Boss

This boss fight is pretty difficult, especially so for low-level players. Leonine Misbegotten is fast and deadly, and he strikes you aggressively with a greatsword of his own. Luckily for you, we’ve got a few tips and tricks on how to beat him more easily.

Do you see that pile of bodies and gravestones in the image above? You’ll want to head there and circle around it during your fight. When the boss does a jump attack or charges at you, he will often touch the hitmarkers of the tombstones instead, blocking his attacks from hitting you. Since your hitbox is much smaller, you can easily squeeze between the static objects for a quick jab at his chest.

It pays off to be aggressive in this fight. You can often get away with hitting him instead of blocking or dodging when he charges up an attack. Getting hit stuns him, allowing you to follow up with multiple additional strikes! If you do need to dodge, be sure to memorize his attack patterns so you can jump out of the right at the right time, as his attacks can be on the slower side.
