The Call of Duty franchise has always had a diverse array of different weapons for you to try out, and it’s still the same in CoD Mobile. But few weapons are as iconic as the classic assault rifle, known for having some of the best versatility in CoD: Mobile.
These are some of the most common weapons you’ll see on the field. Most of them have a solid DPS, allowing you to get into almost any kind of encounter and come out on top. But out of all the assault rifles in CoD: Mobile, which ones are the best? That’s what we’ll be answering in this ranking!
Assault Rifle Tier List for CoD: Mobile
Before we go in-depth on our list of the best assault rifles in CoD: Mobile, you can get an idea of every assault rifle’s performance with our tier list. We’ve listed all 26 assaults rifles currently available with Season 4 of CoD: Mobile.
7 Best Assault Rifles in CoD: Mobile Overall, Ranked Great to Downright Lethal
Out of the 26 assault rifle options in CoD: Mobile, these are the best of the best. While it’ll ultimately come down to your skill with the weapon, these choices definitely make the fight easier.
AK-47
For our first entry, we have none other than the AK-47! This is an incredibly iconic Russian weapon that has been featured in many Call of Duty games. While it’s no wonder that this assault rifle makes its return to CoD: Mobile, is it a worthwhile AR? I think so. The weapon features pretty good damage, but its rate of fire is a bit slower than I would prefer.
The AK-47 comes with fairly predictable recoil, making the gun not too difficult to handle. It also features a pretty decent reload speed, which is useful to have on any weapon in CoD: Mobile. I find this gun pretty fun to use in all sorts of encounters, and it’s effective in most situations. The accuracy is also quite good. Combined with the previously mentioned damage output, you have a very reliable weapon for medium and close-range encounters.
Overall, this is a fan-favorite, iconic weapon that I am very glad has made its return into CoD: Mobile. You should definitely give this weapon a shot if you haven’t already. While it’s not as good as some of the other weapons on this list, it’s still a incredibly well-rounded weapon.
Man-O-War
Onto our next (and probably most controversial) entry, let’s take a look at the Man-O-War assault rifle. This is one of my favorites to use in any game mode thanks to how satisfying and rewarding it is to use in the right situations. As a fully-automatic weapon boasting high damage, you can easily take down any opponent quickly with this monster.
However, the Man-O-War is kept in check by its noticeably slow rate of fire. Due to that, this weapon isn’t the best suited for close combat, as you won’t be able to effectively spray-and-pray an enemy in front of you. On the other hand, if you attach a tactical scope on this weapon, you’ll have a really great weapon for medium to longer-ranged engagements. This weapon’s magazine size is set to 25 by default, but I don’t think that is a major disadvantage considering how slowly it goes through ammo.
The recoil pattern on this weapon can also take a bit to get used to, so be sure to practice with it often before you take it on as a primary weapon. Once you can master how it controls, it becomes a lot of fun to wield and very effective at killing enemies from a distance. Just make sure you don’t get caught in a close-up fight unaware.
MK2-Peacekeeper
For the next spot here on this list, let’s talk about the MK2-Peacekeeper. This is a pretty popular and commonly used assault rifle from what I’ve seen in public lobbies. The damage on this weapon is not as good as some of the top contenders in the same weapon class. However, it is still a solid and very reliable weapon to use thanks to its rate of fire, which is very good and able to compete with other assault rifles.
The magazine size for this gun is pretty standard, being able to hold 30 rounds by default. One interesting thing about this weapon is that it features really, really good accuracy, making it one of the most accurate weapons in the game. Additionally, it also has one of the lowest recoils out of all the other assault rifles. Overall, it’s pretty easy to control, which makes it a great weapon for medium-range engagements.
To summarize, this weapon is one of my personal favorites due to its good rate of fire and excellent accuracy and range. While its damage is a bit on the lower end, it’s a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a fully automatic weapon that performs well at longer ranges.
Krig 6
Moving onto the next assault rifle, we have the Krig 6. This is a weapon that I slept on quite a bit before giving it a real chance, and I have to say that I’m glad I did. It first came to the game during Season 9, back in October of last year, and it’s been a solid gun in the meta ever since. Despite being a pretty damn good weapon, it’s not as commonly used as you might expect.
The gun features good damage for each and every shot, as well as a great rate-of-fire to give it a really great DPS that’s able to compete with other weapons. One thing that I like about it in particular is its low recoil. It is pretty easy to control, making it a solid weapon for taking down enemies at medium ranges. The default magazine size for this weapon is 30 bullets per mag and features a pretty fast reload time that’s better than many of the other assault rifles in the game.
There’s really not a lot to dislike about this weapon. To summarize this weapon, I recommend that everyone gives this gun a shot at least once. It’s a satisfying assault rifle that has a lot going for it: a good DPS, low recoil, and a good reload time.
AS-VAL
Up next on this ranking of the best ARs in CoD: Mobile, we have the AS-VAL. This is another fully automatic weapon that’s used fairly often in public lobbies. The gun features a good DPS, with decent damage per shot. What makes it truly stand out is its very high rate of fire, especially when you compare it to other weapons in the same category.
Because of this, it’s a solid pick for any assault rifle-based load-out in CoD: Mobile. One thing I’m not a huge fan of when it comes to this weapon is its smaller-than-average magazine size of 25 bullets per mag. While this can be upgraded with an attachment, I prefer to avoid magazine attachments as they also increase the reload time. Aside from that, this is a really great weapon.
This gun can be equipped with a full metal jacket, dramatically increasing the headshot damage multipliers. This makes it a good weapon if you want to turn this into a more long-range gun with a scope attached to it. To summarize, this is a good weapon with a great rate of fire and a good DPS. Its lower magazine size is unfortunate, but in practice, it is not really a big detriment to its usability.
M13
Moving to our #2 pick, let’s take a look at the M13 assault rifle. This is probably one of the better assault rifles in the game if you are a beginner or don’t use assault rifles very often. I used this one quite a bit when I first started playing, and while I had a few complaints, this assault rifle is easily one of the bests in CoD: Mobile.
The biggest advantage that this weapon has over other ARs in the game is its high accuracy and incredibly low recoil. It is one of the best guns to be used in medium-range combat due to its ability to stay accurately locked onto a target even during sustained fire. The damage that the M13 does is also good, but it’s not anything outstanding. Its DPS as a whole is still great, however, due to its fast fire-rate. Because of this, it’s one of the best automatic weapons for DPS.
This assault rifle can only hold 30 rounds of ammunition by default, which is pretty standard for an AR. It can be upgraded to 60, which is less than what you’d find on some other weapons. However, 60 is still more than enough to kill multiple targets in short succession. To summarize, this is a great fully-automatic weapon that is great for laying down accurate, high DPS fire in any situation.
Kilo 141
Now for the Kilo 141! This is one of my most-favorite assault rifles in the game, and it just might be yours too after you hear more about it. The weapon was first added to the game during Season 1, back in January of 2022. The weapon’s most obvious advantage over the competition is its high damage per shot. The gun does an impressive 29 damage with each and every hit on the body.
Additionally, it has a very good rate of fire, keeping its DPS at a very solid number. Many people may be disheartened to know that it is a burst-fire weapon, instead of being fully automatic. Personally, I like this as it means that the accuracy is a bit better. The weapon is held back by a strong recoil, but expert players should be able to get it under control with enough practice and skill.
The default magazine size for this weapon is 30, but it can be upgraded to a maximum of 100 with the right attachments. Overall, this weapon’s solid DPS makes it a must-try if you love assault rifles, and despite its recoil, it’s still an effective weapon in both close and medium encounters.
