CoD Mobile: Best GKS Loadouts (2024)

There are 22 Submachine Gun (SMG) selections in COD: Mobile’s submachine gun (SMG) arsenal alone. Never mind all the choices in the other classes. Each weapon, with its own stats and attachment options, performs so differently that it is not a matter of good or bad but what works for the player’s mission. In this guide, we’re going to be taking a look at the best GKS loadouts.

The GKS is a handy SMG that performs well on about 80% of maps and missions in CODM.  As a compact sub, it excels at the spinning and spraying in game modes like Free-For-All, but it’s also a zen-like room-clearing tool. It flows nicely with an even point of aim and can still knock people down at mid-range.

With excellent mobility scores, decent fire rates, and accuracy, the GKS is a soft shooter that hits relatively hard. Depending on whether you are fighting close range or want to slap on a scope and reach a little further out. Where the GKS will lose 9 times out of 10 is ranged battles with powerful rifles.

The 4 Best GKS Loadouts Right Now

Don’t underestimate the GKS. The attachment system in CODM is deep and designed to change how weapons perform and feel, and this little SMG disrupts the enemy, but, more importantly, it is fun to play with. So fun that we ran the GKS exhaustively in-game, tweaking and tuning until we came up with some of our favorite builds and loadouts for this perky little SMG.

Surgeon GKS Loadout

Attachments:

  • OWC Laster-Tactical
  • YKM Integral Suppressor
  • Tactical Scope
  • RTC Steady Stock
  • 32-Round Fast Reload

Strategies

Think surgical shooting SAS style. The stock and foregrip picks focus on taming recoil and increasing ADS shot spread, meaning your bullets will go right where you point them through the magnified tactical scope. Mid-range fighting from cover is perfect for the Surgeon, but the laser makes it a viable clearing tool.

Perks: Lightweight, Toughness, Hardline

Move quick, stay focused, and get kills.

Streaks: UAV, Sentry Gun, Stealth Chopper

This combination is perfect when you have a point or funnel to cover with the sentry gun. Call in a stealth chopper and be your own air support.

Suggested Maps & Modes

This is a solid setup in tons of situations. Small, mid, and large maps all have opportunities for the Surgeon to operate. Pick one and see what it can do.

Game Modes

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Free-For-All
  • Domination

Maps

  • Hacienda
  • Docks
  • Terminal

Mozambique GKS Loadout

Attachments:

  • OWC Light Suppressor
  • MIP Light Barrel (Short)
  • Tactical Scope
  • YKM Combat Stock
  • 45-Round Extended Mag

Strategies

This suppressed GKS wants to run the Mozambique drill – two in the chest and one in the head. The Tactical Scope’s magnification combines range and CQB, perfect for an SMG. The 25-round magazine goes a little too fast, but if you can stand it, trade in the bigger mag for the weapon perk you prefer.

Loadout

Perks: Fast Recover, Ghost, Dead Silence

Silent and resilient is a good combination for our suppressed build.

Streaks: Hunter Killer Drone, Counter UAV, Cluster Strike

Stay under the radar with Counter UAVs and keep the enemy guessing with killer drones and cluster strikes.

Suggested Maps & Modes

The Mozambique will lose ranged battles with rifles, so stick to maps with decent cover and close-to-mid-range fights. This build won’t beat snipers but is quite utilitarian in most other situations.

Game Modes

  • Domination
  • Gunfight

Maps

  • Dome
  • Diesel
  • Summit

Quickdraw GKS Loadout

Attachments:

  • MIP Light Barrel
  • YKM Light Stock
  • Fast Reload Kill
  • Red Dot Sight 6
  • 40-Round Extended Mag

Strategies

This build relies on quickdraw speed to engage enemies in close quarters. Attachment choices focus on speeding up Aiming-Down-Sights (ADS). The MIP Light Barrel and YKM Light stock combine to boost ADS time and movement speed. The GKS swings and adjusts well. Focus on moving fast, closing on the enemy, and running through them with a nice burst from the GKS.

Loadout

Perks: Vulture, Agile, Hardline

Agile helps rushing kills; getting into a lethal flow with this setup is a reality. Rush the kill, grab the ammo, and leap off to your next victim. Hardline puts those skills to use with a 25% XP boost.

Streaks:

UAV, Hunter Killer Drone, VTOL

Increase mid-range mischief by tossing a Hunter Killer drone down that alley, then rise above the fray for a VTOL run.

Suggested Maps & Modes

Maps with tight confines, close-range corners, and quick-to-action fighting are perfect for the Quickdraw GKS.

Modes

  • Free-For-All
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Domination

Maps

  • Hijacked
  • Nuketown
  • Oasis

Viper GKS Loadout

  • Disable
  • OWC Marksman Barrel
  • 3x Tactical Scope 3
  • 32 Round Fast Reload
  • RTC Steady Stock

Strategies

This build is a mid-range assassin that can still hose down a room from the hip. The 3x optic and 25% damage range buff make it feel surgical at mid-range. OWC Marksman and RTC Steady Stock corral recoil, making the Viper build venomous. The GKS is not the hardest-hitting weapon in the game, so slowing the enemy for follow-up shots with Disable (in the weapon’s Perk slot).

Loadout

Perks: Skulker, Toughness, Alert

Skulker’s speed boost to walking and crouching is perfect for hanging behind and picking off rushing enemies. Alert and Toughness keep you on target and forewarned.

Streaks: UAV, Care Package, Sentry Gun

Roll the dice on something special with a care package, and set up a sentry gun to watch your back (or your front) while you’re clicking heads.

Suggested Maps & Modes

This build loves maps with decent views for picking off enemies. The 3x makes the GKS a touch slow to bring to target but lethal once it’s there. The upper floors of Crossroads and Crash, or the narrow lanes of Firing Range, are where the Viper makes its den.

Game Modes

  • Search-and-Destroy
  • Hardpoint
  • Team Deathmatch

Maps

  • Firing Range
  • Crossroads
  • Crash
