For players in Pool 2, this is one of best Ongoing Decks in Marvel Snap due to its versatility and potential to shutdown opponents’ On Reveal cards.

Card List

Ant-Man
1-Cost/1-Power
Armor
2-Cost/2-Power
Colossus
2-Cost/3-Power
Lizard
2-Cost/5-Power
Mister Fantastic
3-Cost/2-Power
The Punisher
3-Cost/2-Power
Captain America
3-Cost/3-Power
Cosmo
3-Cost/3-Power
Warpath
4-Cost/5-Power
Klaw
5-Cost/4-Power
Professor X
5-Cost/3-Power
Spectrum
6-Cost/5-Power

This deck is primarily composed of cards with Ongoing abilities who can benefit from Spectrum’s On Reveal ability for a turn six swing in your favor. Ant-Man is the only 1-Cost card in this deck, so it is okay to skip the first turn if you don’t draw him. Any of the two cost cards are good to play on turn two, but Armor in particular is useful if it looks like your opponent is playing a destruction deck. Play Armor on a lane where they’ve played a card like Nova to prevent them from activating its effect.

Colossus is a great Ongoing card for dealing with pesky locations like Murderworld or Vormir that destroy cards as his ability prevents him from being moved, destroyed, or having his Power reduced. Lizard can be a risky play since his 5-Power can end up with 1-Power if your opponent fills that location. Turn three gives you a lot of options depending on what cards are in your hand. Mister Fantastic is a great option for giving adjacent locations a Power boost. Cosmo is ideal for shutting down an opponent’s On Reveal cards. The Punisher is perfect for a lane the opponent is trying to stack with cards. Captain America is great all-around especially if played in a lane you’re trying to stack.

Warpath can be played on turn four, but make sure you leave one lane open so that he gains a massive Power boost. Professor X can be particularly useful in locking down an entire lane, often winning you the game if played at a location you’re already winning. Klaw can also help support Professor X by boosting the Power of the lane to his right. Spectrum is the perfect turn six card to give each of your Ongoing cards an extra boost at the last minute.

Devil Dinosaur Ongoing

While not a deck composed of strictly Ongoing cards, this deck aims to take advantage of one of Marvel Snap’s best Pool 2 Ongoing cards.

Card List

Ant-Man
1-Cost/1-Power
Agent 13
1-Cost/2-Power
Angela
2-Cost/0-Power
Cable
2-Cost/2-Power
Scorpion
2-Cost/2-Power
The Collector
2-Cost/2-Power
Sentinel
2-Cost/3-Power
Mister Fantastic
3-Cost/2-Power
Cosmo
3-Cost/3-Power
Moon Girl
4-Cost/4-Power
White Queen
4-Cost/6-Power
Devil Dinosaur
5-Cost/3-Power

Devil Dinosaur is the focus of this deck and most cards contained within are there to support its Ongoing ability. Devil Dinosaur gains +2 Power for every card you have in your hand, you will want to maximize your hand size as much as possible. Ant-Man is a solid 1-Cost card to start with, but Agent 13 is even better as her ability adds one random card to your hand. Cable similarly adds a copy of the bottom card of your opponent’s deck to your hand.

These cards are low-cost ways of filling your hand, but they can also synergize with the Collector who gains +1 Power whenever a card enters your hand from anywhere but your deck. The copies that Sentinel creates also count for this ability while also replenishing the number of cards in your hand. Angela only has 0-Power initially, but gains +2 Power every time you play a card at her location, meaning she pairs great with Sentinel and Collector. Mister Fantastic and Cosmo are generally useful Ongoing cards that help you control the field while building your hand size.

Moon Girl is essential to this deck as she doubles the cards in your hand, quickly giving Devil Dinosaur the Power necessary to win the match. White Queen can also aid in growing your hand by adding a copy of the highest-Cost card in your opponent’s hand. Devil Dinosaur can be a nasty surprise in the later turns and can swing the match in your favor if played strategically. By turn six you will want to make sure your hand is as full as possible in order to give Devil Dinosaur the maximum increase to its Power.
