Joining the roster of guns in MW3’s Season 3 of Warzone is the FJX Horus. A powerful and mobile weapon, the FJX Horus is an excellent choice for close-range combat. If you’re wondering what the best loadout to run with the Horus, then have no fear. In this guide, we’ll be going over the best loadouts for the FJX Horus in MW3 and Warzone 2.0.
Warzone Loadout
Our first loadout will focus on what to run with the Horus in Warzone. This weapon is excellent at close range so we’ll be emphasizing close-range combat.

- Muzzle: ZEHM35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Barrel: Ruse-90 Light Barrel
- Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
- Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
- Magazine: 48 Round Mag
For this setup, we add the ZEHM35 Flash Hider and Lockgrip Precision-40 under barrel to help control the recoil of the weapon. Next, we grab the Ruse-90 Light Barrel to keep the weapon light and keep our mobility up. Finally, we add the JAK Glassless Optic for a clean scope and a 48-round mag to make sure we don’t run out of ammo in the middle of a firefight.
Equipment
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
- Lethal: Semtex
For equipment, I grab the smoke grenade and Semtex. The smoke grenade is useful for covering your movements when trying to push or retreat depending on the situation. The Semtex is also a great tool for forcing enemies out of cover and into the open.
Perks
- Perk slot 1: Double Time
- Perk slot 2: Sleight of Hand
- Perk Slot 3: Quick Fix
- Perk Slot 4: High Alert
For our perks, we grab Double Time and Sleight of Hand as our first two perks. These will allow us to stay quick and maneuverable while also being able to reload quicker than our opponents in the middle of a fight.
For perk slots 3 and 4, we grab Quick Fix and High Alert to help with survivability. Quick Fix will keep us healthy whenever we get a kill or insert a plate and High Alert will warn us whenever we are being aimed at which can help us avoid unnecessary damage.
Pair the Horus with a long-range rifle or sniper to help cover any firefights happening at a distance and you’ll dominate the warzone.
MW3 Loadout
Our second loadout will focus on what to run with the FJX Horus when in regular multiplayer matches.

- Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Barrel: Ruse-90 Light Barrel
- Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
- Rear Grip: Lull-9m Grip
- Magazine: 48 Round Mag
For this setup, we grab the ZEHMN35, the Ruse-90, and the Lockgrip for the same reasons as before. Better recoil control in a light package. This time around, however, we forgo a scope and add the Lull-9m Grip to provide even better recoil control keeping our shots accurate. Finally, we add the 48-round Mag again so we don’t need to reload as often.
Equipment
- Tactical: Flash Grenade
- Lethal: Throwing Knife
For this loadout, we take the Flash Grenade and Throwing Knife. The Flash Grenade will help us prime targets for easy takedowns. The Throwing Knife will give us a contingency just in case we run out of ammo mid-fight and need to finish someone off.
Gear Perks
- Vest: Ninja Vest
- Gloves: Commando Gloves
- Boots: Lightweight Boots
- Gear: Ghost T/V Camo
Our gear perks are all about improving the run-and-gun gameplay that works so well with the Horus. We Grab the Ninja Vest to make us quieter and ensure we can’t be slowed while also keeping us supplied with throwing knives.
We take the Commando Gloves so we can reload while zipping in and out of combat, as well as the Lightweight Boots to increase our movement speed. Finally, we grab the Ghost T/V Camo for our gear to keep us hidden from UAVs and radars.
