How to Unlock Trust Events for Jane Doe in Zenless Zone Zero

1. You must own Jane Doe in order to access her Trust Events and increase her Trust Rank.
2. Complete the entirety of the Undercover R&B Special Episode (unlocked after finishing Chapter 3).

All Random Trust Events for Jane Doe (Open-World)

Each in-game day, there’s a chance that a Random Trust Event for Jane will spawn. You can increase this chance by inviting Jane to hang out via texts over multiple real-life days. The specific Trust Event that spawns is random, but some events are more common than others.

Not all dialogue choices affect your Trust Rank, so we’ll only cover the ones that do. Fortunately, Jane’s responses never decrease her Trust in you, so you can’t really make a wrong choice.

Note: After completing 7 Random Trust Events in one real-life day, no more will spawn in subsequent in-game days.

Sixth Street

There are a total of 5 possible Random Trust Events for Jane on Sixth Street.

1. Howl’s Newsstand

After spotting an interesting article, Jane wants to know your thoughts about Hollow Raiders.

• Triggers on approach.
• Choose any answer. You will always get 1 Trust Increase.

2. Front of Metro

You happen to bump into Jane while she’s taking a random stroll on her break.

• Time: Morning
• Hmm? Shouldn’t you be busy running the shop at this time of day, Manager?

3. Alleyway Trashcan

Jane seems to be rummaging through the trash for a piece of evidence.

4. Front of Random Play

For some reason, Jane decided to take a detour and pass by your store.

Invite & Hangout Trust Events with Jane Doe

Each real-life day, you can text and invite up to three characters to hang out, and one of these invites can be Jane.

The only dialogue choice that matters during the texting portion is which hangout location you choose. You’ll always randomly be given two locations to pick from.

Once again, we will only focus on dialogue options that affect your Trust with Jane.

Most importantly, make sure to show up on time for the hangout! If you miss it, Jane will send you a guilt-inducing text about waiting for you. The last thing you need is Jane scrutinizing your possible reasons for flaking…

1. VIP Member (Random Play)

• Text Option: It’s a secret come to the store and we can talk!

You convince Jane to come by the store and rent a movie. But she wants your recommendation.

2. Taking Care of Business (N.E.P.S.)

Jane decides to accompany you to PubSec to get some minor business matters taken care of.

Jane Doe Trust Rank-Up Quests

When your Trust Rank with Jane is ready to advance to the next level, you’ll automatically receive a Trust Rank-Up quest. These quests will always successfully progress, so just choose the answers you like the most!

If for some reason Jane isn’t at the expected quest spot, make sure you track the quest as your active one. This will force the game to prioritize spawning her in.

Friendly (Late Night Caller)

• Location: At the payphone next to Random Play’s parking lot

Help out Jane who’s being interrogated by a PubSec officer that wants to know why she’s loitering around at night.

After completing this quest, you’ll receive a text from Jane the next day that’ll start a short mini-quest to earn Jane as a promoter for your store.

Using Jane as a promoter will give you 5x Basic Physical Chip, in addition to the usual Dennies and Bangboo EXP items. We strongly recommend using her if you’re trying to level up your Physical Agent’s abilities.

Close (Peace Detective)

• Location: Inside Random Play

Jane apparently has a new “role” where she has to play a detective. Help her get into character by examining your surroundings.

Completing this quest will unlock access to Jane’s special Resonium in Hollow Zero. It activates her M1 effect (Crime Counsel) – increasing the effectiveness of her Passion state. Namely, you gain an extra use of her Enhanced Basic Attack, gain a 15% boost to Anomaly Buildup, and deal 0.1% more damage for each point of Anomaly Proficiency on her.

You have a chance to obtain his unique Resonium by entering a rest area between floors, but only if Jane delivers the killing blow to the previous floor’s boss. Given that Jane is probably already your team’s main damage dealer, this buff just makes her absurd damage output even more terrifying.

Trusted (Late Night Lodger)

• Location: In front of Random Play

A kind stranger brings Jane to you after having found her wandering around in a bad state, mumbling your store’s name.

Completing this quest will unlock the dynamic wallpaper for Jane as an option in your pause menu.

Additionally, if you trigger Jane’s event at a rest area in Hollow Zero, you’ll now also gain an extra effect where Jane can unlock all subsequent Gear Coin doors for free. Incidentally, this is also the first time she interacts with you when you’re operating as Phaethon.
