Trust Events for Corin in Zenless Zone Zero

1. You must own Corin to access her Trust Events and increase her Trust Rank.
2. Complete Chapter 3’s main story (ends with The Midnight Pursuit (B)).

After meeting the above criteria, you can encounter Corin in the open world for Random Trust Events or text her to invite her to specific Hangout Events.

All Random Corin Trust Events (Open-World)

Each in-game day, there’s a chance that a Random Trust Event for Corin will spawn. You can increase this chance by regularly texting Corin for Hangout Events over multiple days.

Not all dialogue choices matter, so we’ll only focus on the ones that affect your Trust with Corin. While there are a couple responses that can decrease Corin’s Trust in you, they’re fairly obvious and require you to be a real cold-hearted bastard. And trust us – we’ve tested every possible answer.

Note: After completing 8 Random Trust Events in a single real-life day, no new ones will spawn on subsequent in-game days until the daily reset.

Sixth Street

There are 9 Random Trust Events for Corin on Sixth Street in Zenless Zone Zero.

1. In Front of Random Play

Corin is waiting for you in front of your store. It seems she has something for you, but she’s really nervous about giving it to you. Appreciate her kindness.

• Time: Morning – Evening

• Choose any answer. You will always get 1 Trust Increase and 3x Basic Physical Chip as a gift.

2. Coffee Shop (with Ellen)

You find Corin trying to wake up a dead-asleep Ellen. Admire Ellen’s ability to fall asleep anywhere at any moment.

3. Side Alley to Random Play (with Cats)

You find Corin late at night, looking for a specific cat amongst a horde of them. Help her find the one she’s looking for.

4. 141 Convenience Store

Corin is trying to buy some strawberry mochi that’s on sale, but a blockade of ravenous aunties stands in her way. Brave the horde to help her out and enjoy the spoils of war together.

You find Corin trying to comfort a crying child over her failed tea party. Luckily, Corin is a true maid and can fix the broken dream of a little girl.

6. Howl’s Newsstand

You find Corin having a chat with Howl, as she’s apparently fluent in canine.

7. Coffee Shop (with Tin Master)

Corin has been learning a technique from Tin Master to pick the perfect brew for a customer and wants to test it on you.

8. Side Alley to Random Play (with Two Men)

You find two creepy men harassing Corin. Drive them off and make sure she’s okay.

9. Enzo’s Motor Shop (with Enzo)

Corin has come to Enzo for some maintenance on her weapon. Learn about why the chainsaw (technically a buzzsaw) is her tool of choice.

Lumina Square

There are 5 Random Trust Events for Corin at Lumina Square in Zenless Zone Zero.

1. In Front of Metro

Corin is trying to find the lost owner of a bag but is struggling to find them in the crowd. Help her muster the courage to do what must be done.

2. Alley Next to Hotel

You find Corin hiding in an alley and learn that she’s on standby to… come rescue Ellen? What is going on…

  • Ellen and her classmate got away safely. (Trust Increase)
  • You need to show some attitude when dealing with bad guys. (Neutral)

3. Dew Gardening Shop

You encounter Rina and Corin at Dew Gardening browsing flowers. However, it seems that Rina has a very interesting understanding about the meaning of flowers. Help Corin correct Rina’s misunderstanding.

4. Massage Parlor

You find Corin learning some massage techniques from Old Duyi, and she offers to put her training to the test on you.

5. Near Movie Theater

Some nearby schoolgirls have mistaken Corin as cosplaying a movie character, but she’s too nervous to correct them. Help sort out the misunderstanding.

Invite & Hangout Events with Corin

Each real-life day, you can text and invite up to three characters to hang out. Naturally, Corin is one of these options.

During the texting portion, the only choice that matters is which hangout location you choose. You’ll always be randomly given two locations to pick from. In total, there are 4 different Hangout Events for Corin.

Just like with the Random Trust Events, we’ll only focus on dialogue options that affect your Trust with Corin.

Most importantly, make sure you show up to the Hangout Event at the scheduled time! Otherwise, Corin will send you a heartbreaking text about how she waited all day for you. Absolutely unforgivable, you monster.

1. Haunted House Challenge (Lumina Galleria)

Corin is hoping that you would do a haunted house challenge with her to win the grand prize of Ames Special Mechanical Lubricant (because Lycaon won’t share his stash).

• Wh-wh-what should we do? Should we go around, or…?
  • Go around. (Trust Increase)
  • Face it down! (Neutral)
  • Retreat! (Neutral)
• Regardless of what you choose, you’ll also get 1 Significant Trust Increase at the end.

2. Ding-Dong! Maid Service (Random Play)

Corin has a request for you and wants to meet at Random Play. But surprise – IT’S A TRAP! (In the most wholesome way possible)

3. M-Maid’s Photobook! (Brant Street)

Corin needs help getting a photoshoot done for a promotion pamphlet for Victoria Housekeeping but can’t afford a professional. Be the photographer she needs!

• Choose any answer. You will always get 1 Significant Trust Increase at the end.

4. Glowing Green & Gold (Lumina River)

You suggest meeting up by the river at Lumina Square, and Corin offers to prepare a picnic for the two of you! Cherish this time well-spent with Corin.

• Choose any answer. You will always get 1 Trust Increase and 1 Significant Trust Increase by the end.

Corin Trust Rank-Up Quests

When your Trust Rank with Corin is ready to advance to the next level in Zenless Zone Zero, you’ll automatically receive a Trust Rank-Up quest. These quests will always successfully progress, so just choose the answers you like the most!

If for some reason Corin isn’t at the expected quest spot, make sure you track the quest as your active one. This will force the game to prioritize spawning her in.

1. Friendly (Conversation Rehearsal)

• Location: Next to Enzo’s Motor Shop on Sixth Street (Morning – Evening)

You find Corin in a nervous panic in front of Enzo’s Motor Shop, paranoid that she’ll horribly mess up her first conversation with Enzo. Help assuage her fears and introduce her to Enzo.

Promoter Quest (Don’t Resign Just Yet)

After completing the Rank-Up quest, you’ll receive a text from Corin the next day that’ll start a simple quest to earn her as a promoter for your store.

Corin is panicking as she told a small white lie about having seen a movie and thinks she needs to resign as a maid now before she’s found out. Help calm her down by finding the movie Back 2 Life (obtained from completing Soldier 11’s Agent Story).

Once you confirm you have the movie, Corin will show up outside of Random Play the next day. Watch it together with her and learn that Corin is truly dedicated to being a good maid to unlock her as a promoter.

Using Corin as a promoter will give you 2x Basic Physical Chip, in addition to the usual Dennies and Bangboo EXP items. Unfortunately, you’re better off using a S-Rank character to earn more rewards.

2. Close (Resolve to Become an Attendant)

• Location: In front of the metro at Lumina Square (Morning – Evening)

Help assuage Corin’s fears of not being a good enough maid by having her be the master for a day. Keep speaking to her and fulfilling her commands… no matter what.

Corin’s Unique Resonium

Completing this quest will unlock access to Corin’s unique Resonium in Hollow Zero. There are two ways to obtain it:

1. When you enter the rest area between floors, there’s a chance a special event will trigger. If Corin was the one to land the killing blow on the previous floor’s boss, you’ll get her unique Resonium.
2. If you’re doing Blitz Mode in Withering Garden, there’s a chance to get it if Corin lands the killing blow on the last boss of one of the sections.

As for the effects of Corin’s Resonium, it activates her M6 effect (Accumulated Release) – granting her stacks when the extended slash of her normal attack hits enemies. These stacks are consumed when she triggers her chainsaw detonation to deal extra damage.

This is a rather nice buff to Corin’s damage, as it just enhances her normal playstyle with even more damage. You’re probably already using Corin as your main DPS if she’s on your team, so this just makes her even better at her job.

3. Trusted (One-Day Maid Experience)

• Location: Near Eve’s Newsstand in Lumina Square (Morning – Evening)

Once again, you find Corin nervously fidgeting around in Lumina Square. Turns out she has a task to give a special coupon to someone, serve as their maid for the day, and receive an evaluation at the end. Give her the confidence to keep going as a maid!

Completing this quest will unlock the dynamic wallpaper for Corin as an option in your pause menu.

Additional Hollow Zero Buff for Corin

Completing this quest will also grant you an additional effect when you trigger Corin’s unique Rest Area event in Hollow Zero.

Corin will offer to end everyone’s suffering… she says this while holding her saw. But in actuality, she just wants to heal the party by patching up their wounds. If you accept, the rest of the party (minus Corin herself) will regain about 20% HP.
