How to Unlock Qingyi’s Trust Events in ZZZ

1. You must own Qingyi in order to access her Trust Events and increase her Trust Rank.
2. Additionally, you have to complete the relevant story quest where the Criminal Investigation Team is properly introduced to the main story – which would be Chapter 2 – Interlude: Mission Unthinkable.

Invite & Hangout Qingyi Trust Events

Every real-life day, you’ll be able to text and invite up to 3 characters to hangout with you. One of these invites can be Qingyi.

The only dialogue choice that matters in the text message portion is which hangout location you want to go to. You will always be presented with 2 randomly chosen locations to choose between.

As for the hangouts themselves, we’ll once again only cover the dialogue options that affect your Trust Rank with Qingyi. Fortunately, all the Hangout Events for Qingyi give you the same amount of Trust increase if you choose the best answers, so they’re all equally good for raising your rank with her.

Most importantly, make sure you show up on time to do the hangout event! If you miss it for whatever reason, you’ll get an incredibly guilt-inducing text about how Qingyi waited for you that will make you feel like a terrible person.

1. Off-Duty Mode (Box Galaxy)

• Text Option: How about Box Galaxy for some gadgets?

• Choose any dialogue options. You will always get:
  • 1 Trust Increase
  • 1 Significant Trust Increase (at the very end)

2. Tastebuds Off-Switch (Hotpot Restaurant)

• Text Option: The hotpot restaurant at Lumina Square?

• So then, who will be taking on the challenge?
  • It’s… me! (Significant Trust Increase)
  • Qingyi… (Neutral)

• You will always get 1 Trust Increase at the very end.

3. Song from the Depths of Memory (Bardic Needle)

• Text Option: Let’s go to Bardic Needle!

• Choose any dialogue options. You will always get:
  • 1 Trust Increase
  • 1 Significant Trust Increase (at the very end)

4. The More Things Change… (Antique Shop)

• Text Option: There’s an antique store at Lumina Square called Buyan

• Choose any dialogue options. You will always get:
  • 1 Trust Increase
  • 1 Significant Trust Increase (at the very end)

Qingyi Trust Rank-Up Quests

When your Trust Rank with Qingyi reaches the next level, you’ll automatically receive a quest. Your choices during these quests have no effect on the outcome, so pick whichever dialogue choice you want.

If for some reason Qingyi isn’t at the expected quest spot, make sure you track the quest as your active one. This will force the game to prioritize spawning her in.

1. Friendly (The Last 1%)

• Location: In front of the metro station on Sixth Street.

Qingyi is running dangerously low on power and is on the verge of shutting down. She needs your help bringing her to the nearest precinct’s charger.

Note: You have to manually take the metro to progress in the quest. Don’t default to the fast travel menu.

After completing this quest, you’ll receive a text message from Qingyi the next day which will prompt a simple mini-quest that lets you recruit Qingyi as a promoter for Random Play.

2. Close (Lost Then Found)

• Location: Next to the cinema at Lumina Square.

Qingyi has lost a rather insignificant buckle…that’s worth 200k dennies. Help her track it down and discover something surprising.

Completing this quest will grant you access to Qingyi’s special Resonium in Hollow Zero. You’ll have a chance to get it by entering a rest area between floors if Qingyi lands the killing blow on the previous floor’s boss.

3. Trusted (Withdrawal Symptoms)

• Location: In front of Random Play.

Qingyi seems to be feeling unwell and has come to you for help. Withdrawal is brutal, even for androids.

Completing this quest will unlock Qingyi’s dynamic wallpaper as an option for your pause menu.
