BO6 has a huge amount of camos which you can unlock via in-game challenges across multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies. To help you figure out which are most worth your time, I’ll be ranking my top 10 picks, in no particular order! This will only include camos you can earn without paying real money, so we’ll also cover how to get each of them.
Throwback
How to Unlock: Get 50 kills while moving with the KSV (Multiplayer)
Throwback is a great name for this camo, as it reminds of me of the old Taco Bell cups (you know the ones). It’s simple but vibrant, and looks great on any longer weapon (and most small ones too). I’m not a huge fan of most of the camos in the split category, but this is by far a favorite for me. A few more variants of this would be really great to see. Maybe one or two with a black background and neon colors? Either way, though, Throwback is a fantastic camo.
Ragamuffin
How to Unlock: Get 15 kills after switching weapons with the GS45 (Multiplayer)
This is a hard camo not to love if you like cats (which I do). The color pattern here is also great, as it makes each of the cats stand out. I think the other two variants of this camo (Calico and Siamese) are a bit too dull, but this one pops off the screen like few others. I also love that they left the base of the weapon black, instead of adding a random extra color to it. It does look a little more basic than others due to that, but I don’t see the harm in that.
Quali
How to Unlock: Get 5 kills after right after reloading with the AS VAL (Warzone)
There’s something simple about a camo that just looks like something you’d take out to hunt deer that works great in a game like Call of Duty. The Realtree style looks much better than a more “militaristic” camo style would, and the orange is enough to make sure it doesn’t look too generic. If you’d prefer some pink, though, the Elk camo is pretty much the same as this one but with pink instead of orange.
Concept
How to Unlock: Get 5 kills on an airborne target with the CIGMA 2B (Warzone)
This skin is just as abstract as you’d expect. It looks just like something you’d see in a new-age art museum, which is a lot of fun. The colors are great, the abstract pattern looks awesome, and it’s just an interesting camo to look at. If you really don’t like abstract art you might not like this one, but I think it stands out in all the best ways. I would also say that the other two versions of this camo (Abstract and Technique) are equally good, but I just prefer the colors on this one.
Otherworld
How to Unlock: Get 10 kills without reloading 15 times with the GPMG-7 (Zombies)
This is a really awesome scenic skin with a rustic gold color scheme that I absolutely love. What better to look at while in a warzone than a beautiful waterfall in a gorgeous land? This is probably the best design in terms of the landscape camos when it comes to the actual “landscape” itself. There’s nothing I don’t love about this camo. Maybe we could get an “at-night” or Halloween version of this in the future? A spooky landscape would be great to see at some point.
Liquify
How to Unlock: Get 300 eliminations with Napalm Burst equipped to the XM4 (Zombies)
There’s not much to say about this skin, other than how cool it looks. The liquid pattern combined with such great colors is an easy way to win me over. There’s also a great variant of this style (Emulsion) which uses a green-white-red color scheme if you prefer that. They’re really simple camos, but that’s a part of why I love them. If there’s anything we need more of in shooter games, it’s skins that are simple but easy to look at. Sure, elaborate ones are awesome too, but I’ll always prefer this style.
Go Bananas
How to Unlock: Get a kill without taking damage 30 times with the Tanto .22 (Multiplayer)
Go Bananas! This is literally just a camo with a bunch of bananas all over it, which is all I really need. I can’t explain how much I love this type of camo, and I really wish there were more of them. There is another one with oranges all over it instead, though, so at least we have that as well. I absolutely love this camo.
Baneblossom
How to Unlock: Get 5 kills shortly after sprinting with the Krig C (Warzone)
The floral skins range from beautiful to ridiculous, but this might just be the best one. They did a great job with making the design intricate and complicated without going overboard. I feel like it’s easy to overdo it with a skin like this, but it feels just as sleek as you’d hope. The combo of purples and oranges works really well to compliment one another, and the other variants do the same thing with blue and pink (Dreadshade) and bluish-purple and greens (Crowsbane).
Frostline
How to Unlock: Get 2 kills without reloading 10 times with the LW3A1 Frostline (Multiplayer)
I’m a huge fan of the landscape camos, and this is my favorite. In my opinion, there’s nothing better than snowy winters in rural areas, and this camo paints that picture beautifully. The other variants give a summer and fall aesthetic instead, so if you prefer that definitely check them out (Thaw and Eventide). The icy blue and deep sky are just a great combo that I couldn’t possibly overlook.
Netherworld
How to Unlock: Get 30 point-blank kills with the Saug (Multiplayer)
I mean, just look at this thing. As someone who loves pastel colors and cool blues, this is the perfect camo. The design on it is great (skulls are cool), and I love using the white as the base instead of a darker color. It even looks good on scopes, and the part that goes on the suppressor is just icing on the cake (even though I didn’t show it here). Netherworld is my personal favorite camo in BO6, and other color variations are just as good.
