How to Get More Stims in Jedi: Survivor

The long-anticipated release of Jedi Survivor is finally here, and boy does it live up to the hype! The game improves on nearly every aspect of its predecessor, giving us new ways to fight, new powers, and new planets to explore. However, one thing that hasn’t changed in Jedi: Survivor is your reliance on stims and the need to find more stim canisters.

But how can you get more stims? How many can you hold? Where are they? We’ll be answering all of these questions in today’s guide!

How to Get More Stim Canisters in Jedi: Survivor

With that introduction out of the way, let’s dive in!

Overview of Stims

Stim canisters are essentially med kits in Jedi: Survivor. They’re a consumable item that Cal can use during combat to quickly regenerate some of his health. By pressing the right button during a fight, Cal will tell BD-1 to apply one of the stims. Do keep in mind that if you get hit while trying to use a stim, the healing process will be interrupted and require you to try again.

All of your stims are replenished whenever you rest at a meditation point.

You can also upgrade your stim canisters through the Resilience skill tree. You can spend your skill points to unlock various upgrades such as having BD-1 apply the stim faster. Another upgrade will make stim canisters replenish some of your force meter in addition to your health.

At the start of Jedi: Survivor, you’re limited to having only two stim canisters in total. However, as you progress through the game and thoroughly explore the worlds you come across, you can obtain additional stim canisters. In total, you can have up to a max of 13 stims on you in Jedi: Survivor if you find all the upgrades.

So let’s go over exactly where you can find them now.

As previously mentioned, you will unlock more stim canisters as you explore more worlds in the game. Throughout the various planets you’ll visit, there are hidden chests (like the one seen above) tucked away in specific locations that contain stim canisters. If you manage to find one of these chests, you can interact with it and claim another stim canister to carry on Cal at all times.

These hidden chests are usually in hard-to-reach locations. They can be behind puzzles, in secret areas, or guarded by powerful enemies. It’s important that you check every corner and explore thoroughly to find them.

In case you need some help looking for them, here is a handy chart that shows the planet and location for each of the hidden chests:

PlanetLocation
CoruscantUndercity Meats
KobohDoma’s Shop
KobohBasalt Rift
KobohFoothill Falls
KobohObservatory Understructure
KobohDerelict Dam
KobohGorge Crash Site
KobohChamber of Clarity
JedhaSheltered Hollow
JedhaCrypt of Urhma
Shattered MoonAutomated Forge

As you can see from the above chart, there are 11 hidden chests throughout the game. Combined with the two you have at the start of the game, this means that you can have exactly 13 stim canisters by the end of your playthrough if you manage to find every chest.

That is more than enough stims to keep you alive and well in any situation, be it a boss fight or any other kind of combat encounter.
