Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the latest installment in the Borderlands franchise. It takes a fan favorite character and makes her the dungeon master of a game of Dungeons & Dra- sorry, I mean Bunkers & Badasses. It is an idea that works well not just as a BL2 DLC, but as a standalone game.
So if you’re one of many players who’ve decided to take a crack at Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, chances are you’re looking to acquire some of the best gear. We’ve put together this list of the 10 best spells in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands to help you start slinging slanderous spells to strike down your foes.
10 Best Spells in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
With that introduction out of the way, let’s hop right into the list! The spells are ranked in no particular order, we just rounded up what we think are the best ones!
1. Marshmellow
Let’s kick off this list with one of my favorite spells in the entire game — Marshmellow! Calling out this spell creates a massive marshmallow that causes large amounts of fire damage to enemies. This is a really great damage dealing spell that can also heal you!
After the first marshmallow has been called out, it will explode after several seconds to deal large amounts of damage. The explosion creates two brand-new, smaller marshmallows that can be picked up by you or your teammates. Picking one up heals a decent amount of your max health! This is a great spell if you like playing as a sort of support character for your friends.
2. Rainbolt
Up next on our list we have the spell Rainbolt! This is an offensive spell that fires off a short burst of rainbow colors to deal damage to your enemies. After this spell comes into contact with an enemy, it will give that enemy a completely random status effect, as well as cause splash damage to attack any nearby enemies.
Not only does the spell look cool, it has the potential to deal big amounts of damage if you use it properly! This is a really great spell for dealing with big groups of enemies at once.
3. Impaling Ice Spike
For our next pick, we have the spell Impaling Ice Spike! When you cast this spell, you summon a tall spike of ice to erupt form the ground. The impaling version of the ice spike spell deals a huge amount of critical hit damage, making it a very high damage spell overall. It is very good for dealing out frost damage to your enemies.
Frost is an incredibly powerful elemental type, so it’s always worth your while to keep a frost spell or weapon with you at all times. This spell is pretty hard to get, so if you find it, make sure not to throw it away!
4. Buffmeister
Buffmeister is the next spell we have on this list. This is a very great spell that you can use to dramatically increase the elemental damage that you to do all enemies. It can buff your damage in a variety of different areas, not just in one. What area it increases your stats in depends on the subtype of the spell that you have.
For example, you can get a variant that increases your ability damage greatly! There’s also one which will increase your melee damage, which is great for classes like the Stab-o-Mancer and the Brr-Zerker.
5. Glacial Cascade
Another really great spell in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the Glacial Cascade. This is another frost-elemental spell similar to the Ice Spike mentioned earlier. But instead of casting out a single ice spike, it launches several of them from the ground rushing towards your enemies!
This is a really good offensive spell that you should really consider picking up. The distance you can hit targets with is pretty decent, making it good for hitting opponents from a medium range.
6. Arc Torrent
Arc Torrent is the next spell on our list of the 10 best spells in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. This particular spell calls out a lightning strike to rain down from the sky and deal large amounts of damage to a specific spot.
This spell needs to be charged up before each and every use, but that isn’t a big problem if you know when to start charging it. The cooldown for is very low, meaning you can re-use it again not long after casting it the first time.
7. Laserhand
Taking the next spot on our list for the 10 best spells in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, we have the spell Laserhand! This is an offensive spell that needs to be charged for a bit before each use. Upon being activated, it sends out a beam of energy that deals loads of damage to targets! This is a fire-elemental spell, making it a great choice if you need some weapons that do fire damage.
The spell is very good if you know when to start up the charge, as activating it too soon can cause you to be left out in the open, taking damage while dealing none of your own.
8. Concentrated Magic Barrage
For our next pick, we have Concentrated Magic Barrage. This is a very-high damage spell that’s great for taking out single targets with ease. The spell sends out a burst of magic that can be very effective when cast against boss enemies in the game. While I wouldn’t call this spell a must-have, it is still worth picking up if you want a very high-damage spell for killing single targets.
9. Calamity
The next spell on our list, Calamity, may look familiar to you if you’ve seen the trailers for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Upon being cast, it summons several meteors to cause splash damage to the targets below. This is a very good AOE spell that you can use most effectively against big groups of enemies. It’s also just a really visually spectacular spell to look at!
10. Inflammation
For our final spell on the list, let’s take a peek at Inflammation. This is a fire-based spell that, when cast, deals a steady stream of fire to burn up your opponents. It’s pretty much the closest thing you’ll get to turn into a dragon in this game. It’s a very fun spell to use, and I love to take advantage of it in closer-quarters combat.
