Envision Peripherals, Inc., an affiliate of TPV Technology Limited, is adding a new item to the Philips audio line, the Philips Fidelio X3 headphones. Developed from the Philips X2HR, the X3 headphones are available now on Amazon for $349.99 USD.
The Philips Fidelio X3 headphones feature an open-back design, double-layered ear shells meant to reduce resonance and vibration, and “their neodymium drivers are engineered to
tilt at 15 degrees, fitting the natural geometry of your ear for optimal accuracy at high frequencies.” Said drivers are 50 mm. The diaphragms are made of multiple polymer layers, which are filled with damping gel in order to avoid sound leakage.
Comfort was also a focus of the X3’s design. It features both an outer headband and a softer inner headband which add weight and adjust to fit respectively. The materials used for the headphones come from European specialists and include “responsibly sourced Muirhead leather.”
The Philips Fidelio X3 promises to deliver accuracy, generous bass, and a warm midrange. The focus of said midrange is on a tight and impactful sound, and especially on the separation of voices and instruments. It also offers a clean high-end of the spectrum, providing detail and “excellent extension.”
