In your travels across Aida, you’ve surely come across many different ingredients. You can cook these into delicious meals that buff stats and restore HP. The game only tells you a handful of recipes though, so how do you know what is the best healing food in Tower of Fantasy? Fire up the grill, because we’ll be teaching you some recipes that may just save you in a pinch.
Let’s get started!
Food Effects
HP-restoring foods are divided into two categories. Satiety-restoring foods fill your hunger meter, allowing you to regenerate HP faster outside of combat. Endurance-restoring foods refill a portion of your stamina meter, letting you use more aerial attacks in combat.
All food effects are based on their rarity, so all healing foods of the same rarity will heal the same amount. The highest rarity is purple, so any purple food will end up healing the greatest amount. Because of this, the best healing food comes mainly down to how easily you can farm its ingredients.
Finally, to make a recipe you don’t know, head to a cooking pot and go to the “Creation” section. Place the ingredients for the recipe into the pot, then fill the rest with an unimportant ingredient like water to raise your success rate.
Now that you know what’s cooking, let’s go over each of the best healing foods in Tower of Fantasy, in order of how easy their ingredients are to obtain.
Best Satiety Restoring Foods
All foods below restore 20 satiety and 20% of your max HP, plus an additional 60,000 HP.
Nut Tea
Ingredients:
- 1x Hazelnut
- 2x Pinecone
- 2x Honey
Honey will be a key ingredient for a lot of these recipes, so you’ll want to farm plenty of it. In Aesperia, you can acquire it from bees and their hives all around Astra and near the HT201 Shelter in Banges. In Vera, there’s plenty of bees in the Quicksand Lair to steal honey from. For other ingredients, pinecones lie underneath most trees in Warren. Hazelnuts can most easily be found in patches north and southeast of the Navia Omnium Tower.
Caterpillar Fungus Noodles
Ingredients:
- 1x Caterpillar Fungus
- 3x Brown Rice
You can find Brown Rice in bulk across Raincaller Island in Navia. Caterpillar Fungus, on the other hand, is found in various locations in Warren.
Aloe Yogurt
Ingredients:
- 1x Aloe
- 1x Honey
- 2x Milk
Aloe grows around the large oasis by Mirroria in Vera. Milk can be bought from food vendors in Mirroria or at the Banges Dock in Aesperia.
Spicy Lard Gourd Strip
Ingredients:
- 1x Lard Gourd
- 2x Chilis
Chilis primarily grow around the Saltwater Oasis in Vera. Lard Gourds can be found in Aesperia surrounding the Crown Omnium Tower or on the western beach by the Lumina.
Best Endurance Restoring Foods
All foods below restore 800 endurance and 20% of your max HP, plus an additional 60,000 HP.
Snow Lotus Soup
Ingredients:
- 1x Snow Lotus
- 2x Honey
Snow Lotuses are found all across the coastlines of Warren. Several tend to be around the Warren Omnium Tower, for an easy travel point.
Rose Tea
Ingredients:
- 1x Rose Petal
- 2x Honey
Desert Roses are most commonly found by Ruin Stones in bunches of three. If you’re keeping up with Vera exploration, you should have no shortage of Rose Petals from them.
Crispy Lard Gourd
Ingredients:
- 1x Lard Gourd
Sometimes simple food is the best kind of food. It honestly makes you question why you’d ever make Spicy Lard Gourds when this has a near-similar effect.
Radish Soup
Ingredients:
- 1x White Jade Radish
This one-ingredient soup wins the day with the easiest ingredient to farm: White Jade Radish. You’ll come across large quantities of it at the Evil’s Clutch Oasis and Saltwater Oasis in Vera. If you’re exploring the Miasmic Swamp in the same region, they also grow near Ruin Stones in that area of the map.
