Sacred Archives Architect Puzzle – Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Find and solve the Sacred Archives puzzles with this quick guide!

During your travels through Mount Qaf you’ll be faced with many traps and puzzles sooner rather than later. None are more head scratch inducing than the Architect Puzzles that grant juicy rewards to players willing to solve them. If you’ve been struggling to solve, or even find these puzzles then have no fear. In this series of guides we’ll be going into where to find every Architect Puzzle and how to solve them.

Sacred Archives Puzzle 1

The third Architect Puzzle can be found right in the entrance of the Sacred Archives. There are two Architect Puzzles in the Archives, but this one is found right in the beginning of the map.

Continuing past the first Wak-Wak Tree of the area, you eventually find a mural with three crazed alchemists praying to it, and an empty plate in the middle. The mural is the hint to how to solve this puzzle. The solution is to position Sargon in the open spot on the ground to the left of the plate and crouch. By copying the mural you have solved the puzzle and earned yourself some new goodies.

Sacred Archives Puzzle 2

The second Sacred Archives puzzle can be found deeper in, in an area called the Temple of Knowledge. Before attempting this area however, we need to take out the Jailer who’s been hounding us since we arrived in the Sacred Archives. His boss room holds the key to solving the puzzle.

After defeating the Jailer, memorize or take a picture of the symbols carved into the wall in the background of the arena. Once you have that, make your way to the puzzle location directly west of the Temple of Knowledge fast travel and Wak-Wak Tree.

Once you get there you must now activate the blocks on the wall  in a way that mimics the ones we memorized earlier. This means you have to activate the block on the top right of the grid, the entire middle row of the grid, and the bottom middle of the grid without getting crushed.

This will likely take you a few attempts to get the timing down, but the best solution I found was to start on the uppermost wooden plank on the right. Jump down to activate the upper right block, fall until you hit the middle row and dash to activate the entire middle row. Then hit the ground and jump up to activate the bottom middle block.

Do that and you’ll be rewarded for your effort.
