During your travels through Mount Qaf you’ll be faced with many traps and puzzles sooner rather than later. None are more head scratch inducing than the Architect Puzzles that grant juicy rewards to players willing to solve them. If you’ve been struggling to solve, or even find these puzzles then have no fear. In this series of guides we’ll be going into where to find every Architect Puzzle and how to solve them.
Hyrcanian Forest
The second Architect Puzzle can be found in the mysterious and wild Hyrcanian Forest. Nestled slightly east to the Wak-Wak Tree bordering the Hyrcanian Forest and Soma Tree areas of the map will be an empty plate surrounded by platforms with regenerating purple grass on top of them.
The solution to this puzzle is simple, but a little harder to execute than the puzzle found in the Lower City. To solve this puzzle you must cut all the grass on the platforms before they can grow back. Whether its bow, sword, or chakram, any attack you do will cut the grass.
Here’s my recommendation on how to solve this puzzle. When on the lower pillars, use your chakram to cut the grass on the pillar immediately across from you. If thrown correctly, the chakram should cut all the grass on that pillar and you no longer need to worry about it. While that is happening, use your sword to cut the grass on the pillar you are standing on.
Once all the grass is gone, quickly jump in between the upper pillars, using your bow to shoot the grass. If you’re having trouble shooting the grass from both upper pillars before you hit the floor, then shoot the grass on one pillar and quickly jump onto the opposite one and cut the grass with your sword.
Once all the grass is cut your chest full of loot should appear on the plate.
