Need for Speed: Unbound features a wide variety of cars for you to choose from. From classic tuners cars to modern Ferraris, there is no shortage of vehicles for you to tear up the town with. But not all cars are made equal, and with so many to choose from, it can be hard to decide which ones are best. That’s where we come in. Here in this ranking, we will be going over our picks for the 10 best cars in NFS: Unbound. We’ll be ranking them based on overall performance, going over their stats and what we think makes them so great to drive.
10 Best Cars in NFS: Unbound, Ranked from Good to Best
With that introduction done, let’s jump right into this ranking!
Ferrari F40
The Ferrari F40 is a supercar with a retro design to it. It features a top speed of 201 miles per hour, as well as the ability to go from 0–60 in 3.9 seconds. All of this makes it understandable why it would be lower on this list than some of the other cars. However, it makes up for this lower speed with great handling. It has a 60% grip on it and can make sharp turns on a dime.
This car can be purchased for a total price of $547,000. This means it’s a bit on the cheaper side (for a high-end car, anyway), but it’s still worth a pretty penny.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster (2019)
The 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is a beautiful Italian car with good speed and acceleration and great handling. Its top speed can reach up to 217, and it can go from 0–60 in 2.8 seconds. The car feels great to drive, and it has really good traction to boot.
The car is really cheap compared to most of the other high-end cars on this list. It will cost you $382,500 to purchase.
McLaren P1
The McLaren P1 features a top speed of exactly 217 miles per hour. Its acceleration is very nice, able to go from 0–60 in 2.5 seconds. It also handles like a dream, making it an ideal car to use in all different types of races. This is one of the most satisfying cars to drive in my opinion, due to its strong grip and the way that it handles.
Unlocking this car requires you to race in and complete 20 tier S playlists in total. Not only that, but you must be driving a McLaren while you are doing it. Once it’s unlocked, the McLaren P1 can be unlocked for $776,500.
Ford GT
The Ford GT is a really sick-looking sports car that can hit a top speed of exactly 216 miles per hour. The car has handling that is designed to grip, so don’t pick it up if you want a drift car. It also features rear-wheel drive. There are definitely cars with better acceleration, but even so this is still a great car that can compete with some of the other vehicles on this list.
If you want to unlock this car, you will need to advance to Week 3 and beat Qualifier 3. After that, you should be able to purchase it for $342,500.
Aston Martin Vulcan 2016
The 2016 model of the Aston Martin Vulcan is a car with really great handling. It features high grip, making it excellent for turning corners and competing in races with lots of sharp turns. The speed of this car is excellent as well, able to reach a total of 223 miles per hour. Acceleration is also good at 2.9 0–60.
This car can be unlocked once you reach a far enough point in the story mode. After you do that, you can purchase it for the hefty price tag of $1,600,000.
Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 (1988)
Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 is a German car with a top speed of 143 miles per hour. This makes it unable to compete with the fastest cars in the game, but it is still faster than most of the vehicles in Need for Speed: Unbound. Additionally, the car has good acceleration that allows you to get up to speed fast. I prefer to use this car for races with straighter pathways and fewer turns, as I feel that this is where it excels at.
I also really like the design. Some people may not like the boxy shape, but I think it looks great, and it makes for a good-looking tuner car. You can purchase this car for $350,000.
Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4
The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a speedy car with a total of 221 miles per hour. This makes it one of the faster vehicles in the game. Its acceleration time is incredible, and I highly recommend you use it for S+ street races. It’s a great sports car for turning with, due to it’s decent handling. Combine this with the great acceleration mentioned earlier and you can easily get back up to speed after making a sharp turn.
The car has a more old-school look to it compared to some of the other cars that are on this list. If you like that kind of style combined with great performance, then this is your car. The price is a very low $283,000!
Koenigsegg Regera
Now for our top three picks for the best cars in NFS: Unbound. Koenigsegg Regera (yeah, don’t try to pronounce that) is a Sweedish car that features excellent top speed (one of the highest on this list, in fact). It clocks in at a top speed of 256 miles per hour. Additionally, it’s acceleration is top-notch as well, being able to go 0–60 in 2.7 seconds. The car is really great for races with a lot of straight roads and not too many turns. However, it still manages to turn fairly well around corners.
The car can be unlocked in the story mode by finishing Qualifier 3. After you do this, you will have made it to the final week and can purchase the car for a total price of $1,500,000.
Ferrari LaFerrari
The Ferrari LaFerrari is next. It’s an Italian hypercar that features a very high top speed of 217 miles per hour. It’s not the fastest car in the game, but it certainly comes close. This vehicle has a really fantastic corning ability, making it a good pick for races that require fast response times when turning. Handling is one of the most important aspects when picking your car, so don’t overlook the LaFerrari.
This car is without a doubt my favorite cars in the whole game when going just off of looks. It looks like how you would expect a Ferrari to look, with a sharp design. You can purchase this car from your garage for $1,104,500.
Bugatti Chiron Sport
And finally, taking the number one slot on our list of the best cars in NFS: Unbound we have the Bugatti Chiron Sport! This is an incredibly fast car with a top speed of about 260 miles per hour. This statistic makes it one of the fastest cars in the game. In a game all about speed, this is certainly one of the most important aspects when looking for a good car. It also features good handling for a car of this type, making it great for navigating turns.
The car features a sleek and stylish design. It’s one of the best-looking Bugattis there is. This vehicle is classed as a hypercar. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny for it, as it will cost you $3,665,000.
