Armored Core 6: S Rank Basics

In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, S Rank is the highest possible mission completion rating, denoting exceptional performance. Essentially, it means you dominated the mission by being fast, efficient, and stylish.

Here’s what earning an S Rank entails:

Key Factors

  • Speed: Completing the mission as quickly as possible without wasting time.
  • Efficiency: Minimizing resource expenditure like ammunition, repair costs, and resupply usage.
  • Damage: Taking minimal damage from enemies.
  • Optional objectives: Completing any bonus objectives present in the mission.

Additional Points to Consider

  • Restarting from checkpoints: Dying and using checkpoints will disqualify you from an S Rank on that attempt. You need a clean, uninterrupted run.
  • Hidden criteria: Some missions might have specific requirements beyond the core factors listed above. Experimenting and strategizing based on the mission is key.
  • Rewards: While some may expect powerful unlocks for S Ranks, the current reward is primarily bragging rights and a cool emblem/trophy.

Overall, achieving S Rank is a challenge for skilled players seeking mastery over their Armored Core and the mission itself. It tests your piloting skills, build optimization, and tactical decision-making.

If you’re interested in S Ranking specific missions, there are plenty of guides and resources available online with tips and strategies to help you get there. Good luck!
