In shadowed lands, where death does tread,
Lies Project Zomboid, fear and dread.
A world overrun, where survival's key,
Against the undead, we must be free.
With cautious step, through streets so bleak,
For food, for shelter, we silently seek.
Board up the windows, lock the doors tight,
In this apocalypse, we fight the night.
Craft and scavenge, plan each day,
In this zombie siege, we find our way.
No hero's tale of glory, just survival's song,
In Zomboid's grip, we must be strong.
So sing of courage, in darkest hours,
Where humans stand, against unholy powers.
The Angry Troll
Project Zomboid? It's like someone decided to mix the thrill of doing laundry with the excitement of a tax audit and then added zombies for spice. The graphics look like they were designed during a power outage, and don't get me started on the gameplay. If I wanted to experience the tedious minutiae of survival, I'd just turn off my Wi-Fi and try to make dinner without YouTube. It's the perfect simulator for those who've ever fantasized about spending their days in a post-apocalyptic world, rummaging through endless drawers for a can of beans. At least they nailed the whole 'feeling isolated' thing; I felt completely detached from any fun whatsoever. It’s a survival horror, alright – surviving the boredom is the real horror.
