Even with a mix of titles he regularly plays through, TimTheTatMan retains an incredibly high win percentage and a K/D of 4.9 with over 28,000 kills. Not one to play alone, most of his wins and game time is spent playing Duos or Squads, with the later escalating his win rate closer to 40%. This combo of higher win rate with squads may have a lot to do with his playstyle, which is somewhat aggressive but from a distance, not quite a sniper but a mid-range player with a high level of accuracy.

When it comes to his equipment and peripherals, Tim typically sticks to his sponsored gear and pc builds, only updating specific peripherals or components when necessary. He currently partners with CyberPowerPC, which helped him create his current build and now sells that variation as a complete setup. The focus of his setup is primarily on the high powered NVidia graphics card to assist with maintaining a higher frame rate. The rest of the visual settings are kept at the lower end, showcasing his value for crisp, clean and less distracting gameplay when competing. Additionally, his keybind setup is somewhat traditional, falling in closely with current ideas of best keybinds, again adding to the idea that he doesn’t need anything fancy and sticks to the standard.

In 2018, Epic Games held the first ever Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am, where Tim joined forces with actor and recording artist Mack Wilds to raise money for charity. While he didn’t place within the prize pool, the major event led to further opportunities for the streamer. Later that year, he also won the Gamers’ Choice Award’s for Fan Favorite Male Streamer/Gamer of the Year, beating out the likes of Ninja and Dr. Disrespect for the honor.

His most recent major appearance was with Ninja in the NFL 100 commercial which aired during Super Bowl LIII this last year and he only continues to gain more opportunities and build his streaming audience on Twitch going into 2020.
