Shroud Settings – Escape From Tarkov
Shroud has only recently started playing Escape From Tarkov and has made it more similar to other games he’s played. Making only a few notable changes to the basic control scheme, Shroud has opted for something rather simple and optimized for ease of use.
Unlike with other games, Shroud has pushed the limits with his graphical settings. Having texture, shadows, and SSR all set to the max level. However, in order to avoid any loss of frames, Shroud has made sure to keep his visibility low and have the LOD quality set to the minimum as well.
It is worth noting that Shroud plays fullscreen and has HBAO set to “high”.
Shroud Settings – Fortnite
Though he sports some of the best gear in the business, that’s not the only thing that sets him apart. You’ll have to take a closer look at his settings to see the genius behind the shroud.
Shroud uses a fairly standard layout for his Fortnite mouse and keyboard settings. Where his settings really stand out is in the graphics department. You’ll notice that he has everything set to low, except for draw distance.
This provides him the range he needs to be competitive, without hampering his system. A smart move.
Shroud Settings – CS:GO
Counterstrike: Global Offensive is where Shroud got his start, and he knows the ins and outs of this game better than any other. That said, CS:GO has a much more complex settings system than most games. Still, you can get a good idea of Shroud’s CS:GO settings in the image below.
Shroud Bio
Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek has always been a gamer. So it took nobody by surprise when, following high school, he set out to become a professional.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was the name of the game, and Michael was good. It wasn’t long before he was picked up by a handful of ESEA Leagues. He jumped from one to another at first, before settling into the game-changing team known as Cloud 9. That was 2014.
Fast foward three years, and he’s brought in over $200,000 in earnings for himself, and much more for his organization. But something was missing. So Michael Grzesiek said farewell, and the Shroud you know and love was born.
Twitch is the place to go for professional streamers, and Shroud quickly found his footing there. Due to his dedication and knack for social media, Shroud quickly climbed the ranks to become one of the most popular streamers in the world.
Most streamers are known for one game. Maybe two. They latch onto whatever’s popular and play it until something new comes along. Then they slowly fade off into oblivion as new streamers take their place.
But not Shroud. This super streamer has been in the gaming scene for almost a decade, and he plays whatever he damn well feels like, from World of Warcraft, to Fortnite, to Minecraft, and more. And he’s made quite the name for himself doing just that.
Perhaps one of Shroud’s greatest strengths, is that he picks up games extremely fast, particularly FPS titles. His mechanical skill shines in titles like CS:GO, Call of Duty’s Blackout Mode, Apex Legends, PUBG, and Rainbow Six: Siege.
Nowadays, he plays all different types of games, ranging from crowd favorites like Minecraft and Fortnite, to smaller titles like Escape from Tarkov and Battalion 1944. With over 5 million Youtube subscribers and a view count nearing 500 million, Shroud is living the dream.
