Odds are, if you’re here, you know Ninja a bit already. However, maybe you’re surprised to see that most of Ninja’s settings aren’t that far off from the standard. Ninja sports a relatively standard eDPI with the exception of a higher Targeting and Scope sensitivity. Let’s checkout what go-to gear the default skin king uses.

Ninja Streaming Setup

Ninja’s gear is absolutely top notch. Working with his NZXT sponsorship, Ninja has tricked out the H700i computer not once, but twice. This way Ninja has established a strong and reliable base from which he can stream and game for his long 9 hour streams each and every day, without worry. His streaming setup has also taken a bit of a jump in production value with the Blackmagic Design URSA mini Pro camera that makes sure to record Ninja however the Logitech BRIO can’t.

Ninja Keyboard

Ninja has also made the transition that many other streamers such as Tfue and Symfuhny are making to smaller keyboards. Ninja’s keyboard is the Ducky One 2 Mini RGB. The keyword here is MINI. This is a 60% length keyboard (even smaller than a tenkeyless) that takes up an extremely small amount of deskspace. Advocates for 60% keyboards argue that they allow for more mousing space, easier to angle a shorter keyboard to get just the right wrist and hand positioning, and that it’s faster/easier to reach everything because the keys are smaller or closer together. Ninja in the past used the Corsair K70 keyboard, which is also a top tier keyboard.

Ninja Headset

Ninja has selected the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro Headphones as his weapon of choice. This is a pretty unique choice, as many pros opt for Logitech, Astro, or Sennheiser headsets. Nevertheless, the DT 990’s performance has clearly never let him down and he’s used this headset since June of 2017. The soft ear pads, open back design, impedance of 250 Ohms, and frequency response of 5 to 35,000 Hz are the most important specs on this particular model. Keep in mind there is a 250 Ohms version (that you’ll need a mixamp for or you’ll risk damaging them) and a 80 Ohms version that doesn’t need the same oomph. Speaking of mixamps, what is Ninja’s Mixamp? Ninja uses the Creative Sound Blaster X7 for maximum audio enjoyment and to pick up every detail, particularly the footsteps of his soon to be prey. That’ll setup combined runs close to a whopping $400.

Ninja Mouse

Ninja uses the Finalmouse Ninja Air58. That’s right, he’s got his own mouse named after him. And that mouse costs a pretty penny, about $300! This mouse employs the honeycomb design that is quickly growing in popularity. Why? Because it is lighter and offers plenty of air flow. That helps eliminate hand and finger fatigue, keeps hands dry and prevents slippage, and lighter ultimately means those fast-twitch reactions are microseconds faster. Every detail counts in hyper competitive enviroments.
