CohhCarnage is a variety streamer with a slight focus on tactical titles and RPG’s, meaning that his setup is not geared toward a specific genre or game title. Still, his setup is nothing to scoff at, with both his gaming and streaming PC’s running on an Intel Core i7-6950X processor and including multiple SSD drives for additional memory.

He also opted for the same GPU skew for both PC’s, the GTX 1080. When combined with the rest of his build, it allows for higher frame rates and greater resolution. Since he’s often switching between games almost daily, the focus on a build that prioritizes faster performance and better efficiency mean that he never needs to worry about a poor experience for himself or his viewers.

For his streaming peripherals, CohhCarnage keeps things consistent by using only Razer branded keyboards, mice, mousepads and headphones due to their sponsorship. The headphones are an interesting component, as CohhCarnage often streams without them, and only brings them out from time to time. He’s never explained why he does this, with many speculating that it could be due to how often he plays solo, a medical reason, or simply due to comfort.

The last piece that CohhCarnage often shouts out is his current gaming chair. Since he started streaming, he has sworn by the Herman Miller brand and has gone through at least two chairs in the last seven years. His reasoning for using his most recent chair, the Mirra 2, is for consistent comfort and lower lumbar support when streaming over long periods of time.

He would continue to balance streaming, school and building out his studio for a little over two years, before deciding to drop out of college and focus on his creative efforts. Even this balancing act wouldn’t last too much longer when he finally decided to dissolve his company in 2017 and focus solely on streaming.

Yet, this decision and his Twitch following didn’t come easy, with Cohh having multiple times where it seemed like his channel would die early on in his career. It took him solidifying a schedule and building out a creative team to help him run his channel over the next several years, eventually leading to the incredible feat he reached in April of 2019. It would be the first time that CohhCarnage didn’t wake up and start streaming at 5:00 AM PST for 2,000 consecutive days.

Now, CohhCarnage is still one of the most consistent and hardcore streamers active on Twitch, showing that dedication and support are sometimes all you need to make your mark and succeed.
