Cloak rolled into the Fortnite scene already at the top of his game. Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, or Cloakzy, was born in 1994 and grew up with a passion for gaming. Originally dipping his toe into the professional gaming space with PUBG and H1Z1, even playing on the professional PUBG team KnightsGG, he gained fame early on and continued to rise in popularity. He caught mainstream attention when he began playing Fortnite, streaming gameplay, trick shots, and sniping challenges. By March 2018, he joined up with professional e-sports team FaZe and regularly partnered with Tfue to become one of the most dynamic and elite duos playing throughout 2018.
While he has continued to play in tournaments, his focus has been primarily on building out his Twitch following and collaborating with other streamers. This eventually led to him dating fellow streamer Alexia Raye, after months of collab videos and rumors swirling around the potential relationship.
In June 2019, it was announced that Cloak was trying to leave the FaZe Clan organization only a month after fellow teammate, Tfue, sued the company for a reportedly abusive contract. The difference between the two is that Cloak is currently a restricted free agent, which means that while FaZe Clan still has rights over him, there is potential for another organization to sign him.
At this point, Cloak hasn’t shown any interest in joining another team and has instead focused on developing his Twitch channel and continuing to train for major tournaments. It is yet to be seen if he will remain with FaZe Clan or eventually sign with another team going into 2020.
