Gaming hardware manufacturer HyperX is adding the Alloy Elite 2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard to its Alloy Keyboard Lineup. It employs red linear HyperX Mechanical Switches, “built for performance, longevity and an 80 million lifetime click rating per switch,” and it uses HyperX Pudding Keycaps, which sport a translucent dual-layer design. Additionally, the Alloy Elite 2 features dedicated media keys, quick access buttons, and a volume wheel. The keyboard itself is constructed with a solid steel frame.
The Alloy Elite 2 ships with a light bar with LED lighting, dynamic RGB lighting effects and RGB colors, along with per-key lighting, customizable via HyperX NGENUITY software. Said software allows users to personalize Game Mode and macro settings. The keyboard includes a USB 2.0 pass through, 100 percent anti-ghosting, and full N-key rollover functionalities. It also comes with onboard memory for keyboard customization, allowing users to create up to three profiles.
Keyboard business manager for HyperX Jennifer Ishii said of the release, “We are excited to announce our new Alloy Elite 2 mechanical keyboard built with HyperX pudding keycaps. The Alloy Elite 2 will meet the needs of gamers looking for a fully customizable mechanical gaming keyboard with HyperX switches rated at 80 million clicks per key.”
As always these days, there’s the potential for certain illnesses to disrupt shipping and distribution where the product is concerned. Still, the Alloy Elite 2 is available for $129.99 MSRP on the HyperX Online Shop. The keyboard is compatible with PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
