On August 11, 2020, AOC released the AOC CU34G2X, a new 34-inch QHD curved frameless gaming monitor. It’s part of the new G2 series, and it’s available on Amazon for $449.99. Its 1500R curved design allows players to take full advantage of peripheral vision, and it sports a VA panel and 3440×1440 resolution. The monitor has a 1ms response time, eliminates ghosting effects, and comes with FreeSync Premium and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Ergonomics are an important design feature. The AOC CU34G2X comes with a height-adjustable stand which has tilt, swivel, and VESA mounting capabilities. It also has a narrow bezel and a frameless design, suitable for multiple monitor displays.

Additionally, it’s covered by both the Re-Spawned Warranty and the Zero Dead Pixel Guarantee. The former covers three years of general warranty and a one-time accidental warranty, while the latter stipulates that if one or more pixels are dead, AOC will send the user a new monitor without waiting to receive the old one.

Compared to other monitors of the same size on the Amazon storefront, the AOC CU34G2X is moderately priced, and based on the description it seems best suited for gamers who want a solid addition to an already robust setup.
